Topic: Black Friday wish list

So what are you eying for during the coming Black Friday deal parade?

Nintendo related:

• Switch Pro Controller - my current one has had its prime
• Perhaps a few games if there's a good deal to be had

Non-Nintendo related:

• Samsung Tablet - which one depends on the deals available. I use MS Teams to collaborate with my colleagues digitally. I miss the creative whiteboard sessions, so I'm looking for a tab to connect to Teams and use as a whiteboard
• Chromecast Ultra 4K - I currently own one but I want one for both my tellies. Whereas I wouldn't really need a 4K, it's best to be future proof
• Wifi extender
• Qi wireless charger

What are you in the market for?

I wish i can have Black Friday in my country Indonesia.

I wish I had good black fridays.

I want too many of Best Buy's Switch deals, I am going to have to decide which ones NOT to get. Link's Awakening and Luigi's Mansion 3 are $40 (and Mario Maker 2, but we already have that). PGA2K21 is like $27 or something. Catherine and Trials of Mana are $19. Those are the five I really want. Other than that I might need a new laptop.

Aside from renewing my PS+ subscription, I'll be keeping an eye on Switch physical releases possibly going on deep discount.

We don't have culture like that on Indonesia but big discount for a lot of stuffs are oftenly happened here but on different occasion (let's say Eid-ul Fitr day, Christmas, Chinese New year, Independence day, etc)
Well, not as huge as Black Friday.

Weird, there aren't any big things I need that a black friday sale could help.

It will be interesting to see what 1 TB micro sd cards go for.

I just added a wifi extender to the list. Since I'll be working from home for a while, I may as well improve my local wifi connection.

I'm looking to pick up a low end gaming pc. Will be checking for a good deal.

I need luggage but I have about a grand worth of games sitting in my best buy cart waiting until the deals hit and the price drops... still should be around about 4 or 5 hundo. Other than that I'm done. I bought a rower since I don't trust going to the gym right now so most of my time will be spent on that.

So far I got with a good price:

• A New power bank
• A Philips electric body shaver

Would like to get:

• Some new shirts
• A smartwatch
• Chromecast

@judaspete that's a solid investment. You can probably pick one up cheeply and still have years of fun out of it.

@Ryu_Niiyama You need luggage? What do you mean by that? Did you buy the rowing machine at a good discount? That's a good investment too. If you use it the proper way, it's a very good core and cardio trainer in one.

@Vinny You definitely started early. What kind of smartwatch are you looking for? I picked up a Samsung Active2 this spring, since I mainly bought it for the sports functionality and it should function in a 90% Samsung ecosystem. Besides some minor bugs and annoyances, I'm very happy with it overall.

@toiletduck A simple one just to see the time (haha), to count my daily steps and for monitoring the heart rate.

@toiletduck lol I mean I need luggage. Like to travel with. I got a new job after the pandemic flatlined my old one and while I’m allowed to work remotely permanently I have to travel on occasion. I usually drive, but this is cross country so I need decent luggage to haul my equipment in that the airplane jockeys won’t break, lol.

I got the rower (concept 2 model d) and I love it. I got it at normal price but considering this model was sold out and marked up several hundred dollars at the few places that did have it, to take advantage of the pandemic, I don’t mind. I had to sit on a waitlist for three months anyway. I walk in the local park and weight lift at home plus my dojo has started up virtual classes so I will stay active.

Some of Best Buy’s deals are live for games, so I am slowly buying them as they come up.

Holding off on buying a bunch of games due to crazy backlog, but the one game I was looking at(Bioshock collection on Switch) will be $20, so I'm happy.

@Ryu_Niiyama wow, that shows perseverence. Good job! And I'm glad you're enjoying it. Personally I haven't had too much trouble staying fit over the summer. I mostly went out on my bicycle for about 4-6hrs/week (for as long as my injuries made me last) or swimming in a canal or lake nearby. Besides that I've been able to go to my local gym (incl. swimming pool) relatively safe for most of the pandemic period.

My personal wish list grows longer and longer. I just realized that Black Friday may well be a good moment to buy a nice wireless charger for all my Qi-compatible devices (which is a steadily growing number).

Not much for me this year. Both the PS5 and XSX are more trouble than they're worth. Most of the Switch games I had my eye on weren't discounted. So now I'll look to the year-end / Christmas sales for those things.
