What do you guys think the best anime dubs are? Since a lot of animes actually have some quality dubs out there and considering that many don't like to watch anime in Japanese, here's a thread to discuss the cream of the crop of translated anime. The best ones I've found are:
Fullmetal Alchemist and Brotherhood: it's natural sounding and just works really well, plus a high-quality cast.
School Rumble: pretty much perfect. The whole cast works very well and Harima doesn't have the deepest voice on the planet (it bothered me)
Cowboy Bebop: I don't think I have to say much on this one
Ghost Stories: In my opinion, this is the best dub ever; just for all the wrong reasons. The original show wasn't well-recieved in Japan, so when it got translated the voice actors and new director had liberties with the script. It then became what is essentially an official abridged series. What a glorious outcome indeed.
And yes, I'm aware there is a general anime discussion thread, but this is solely focused on dubs, not anime as a whole.
Best thread ever

I usually only watch Dubbed Anime. the subtitles just don't pull me into the story.
So for me it would be:
Lucky Star
Ranma 1/2
Sgt. Frog
Full Metal Alchemist (I still haven't finished the series... I need to do it once of these days...)

the worst has to be bleach eng dub so run away as far as possible if u see it
I disagree, I think the worst dub is Naruto, especially with the way he says "Believe it" all the time in the dub.
I think The melancholy of Haruhi Suzmiya has a fantastic dub and it has the best dub out of all the dubbed anime I've seen. I think the character's voices voices suit them better than their Japanese counterparts and while the song God knows that Haruhi sings in the episode Live alive is better in the Japanese version, they still did a very good job of dubbing it. There are also some good lines that they added in for the dub that weren't in the Japnese version. I also agree with @Konata on how good Sgt. frog's dub is.
I forgot about Hetalia: Axis powers, a comedy anime where all the main characters are personified versions of different countries. I think the dub is better as all the characters have the accents of the countries that they're supposed to represent. Also, the spin-off series of The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya called The melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya has just as good a dub as the series its based on.

Oh heeeeeeeell no. The Sgt. Frog dub was....it was just no. Keroros voice gave me the equivalent of the Lavender Town effect.

Okay okay, I agree Keroro's voice wasn't the.. best.
But all the other voices I thought were great.
So yeah.

You guys saying Bleach and Naruto have the worst dubs have never seen anime released in the '90s. Watch Bubblegum Crisis, Ronin Warriors, and Garzey's Wing, and see if you still think those shows' dubs are that bad.

Probaubly the anime was not supposed to be in english but they wanted to make a black guy that spoke english, happened before in other animes that are not english dubbed.
Gurren Lagann has a great dub. The Spanish Card Captor Sakura dub is PERFECT imo. I'd rather watch it than the Japanese one actually, that's how good it is for me.
Funimation is pretty good, IMO. FMA/B is good, & they did a great job with DBZ as well (also improved the soundtrack as well). Rurouni Kenshin was pretty good too, I believe.
Although, I'll always have a soft spot for the completely corny dub of DBZ that Ocean Group did
