I like my video game collection and all of my games. I find enjoyment in all of my games even if they are panned by critics. When I see the internet start hating a game I enjoy so much I turn it off and go back to playing games.

Does it ever seem like you spend more time reading websites about video games than you do actually, you know, playing them? Gaming news blogs, traditional gaming sites, video sites, Wikipedia, Google, GameFAQs — they're all tied together in a complicated knot that sometimes seems hard to escape. This piece is for anybody who's ever wasted an afternoon refreshing blogs and reading about obscure Neo Geo games on Wikipedia while the game you spent $50 on last week collects dust...

DOWN WITH THE HERETIC. VIDEO GAMES ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS, PEOPLE!
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

If people didn't get mad, my name would have no meaning, no power, no existence!
Anger gives people the motivation to wake up in the moring and to express their feelings on how they feel about the world, or to express compassion about the things they like doing! Would you like some jerk to mock or make fun about something your passion about? Of course not!, you want to express those feelings down that jack ass throat for having the balls to say such things! Let your anger grow! Let your angry spread to others who feel your anger! Let your anger give you the power to make internet angry about your passtion! This is internet , we get angry about our passtions, and we get angry about the jerk who made us mad!
Now tell me this internet. U MAD?
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Too bad Kotaku is the tabloid gutter press of game journalism
US Kotaku is.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
There are a bunch of games with mediocre reviews that I have, but love to play. Sometimes the ones with good reviews sucks. It all depends on your personal preference, not a media-infested dictation, If you could say that. I agree with the article, very good.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
But sometimes Games make you angry. Got fallout 3 and Advance wars days of ruin today. Found out Advance Wars didn't work and returned it but forgot to keep my recpiet. Now Im really not feeling Fallout and can't do anything about that. Going to see tommorow if they keep digital recipets and If I can. take that back in too. Get starfox command.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
I think reviews are only good for helping decide if you should (or recommend someone to) buy a game or not, not get angry about it. I agree with @LordJumpMad (even though I'm not sure if he was kidding, being serious, or both), it's OK to get angry. Just not over silly game reviews, even if their opinion doesn't match yours. I also agree with @MetalMario. Just enjoy the game, that's all that really matters for you. Not a review by some guy you don't even know.
Ehhhh, this article seems a bit radical. It's not like arguing is a bad thing to do; arguing is supposed to either help us settle stuff or convince one another....at least, as far as I know right now since I'm tired. I think the issue here is that some gamers around the web feel insecure and talk down to other platforms and stick with their preferred ones, or, others see themselves as an elite class because they stick with more successful platforms or they're obsessed with them. Because of that, they hate or talk down on those companies and, therefore, angers other gamers. Ultimately, we become more hostile and it strengthens our hate for other platforms.
