Topic: Anyone else hate April 1st on the internet?

The dsi vc joke was cruel and 2pstarts april fool was annoying but I liked brawlinthefamiys april fool and homestarrunner.com has a good april fool most years.

it's kinda irritating that you can't take everything you read on April 1st at face value, but it's hilarious to watch other people get all bent out of shape over a joke article :3

It's significantly less hilarious to BE the one who's bent out of shape over the so-called "joke," however. The DSi VC wasn't obvious enough of a joke to be funny. It's a feature that we've been wanting for a YEAR now...not really good joke material.

I hadn't thought to check homestarrunner...they do have something amusing there now. Which is odd, because they STILL haven't put up ANY new regular cartoons thus far this YEAR.

Y'know what, I saw the DSi VC headline this morning, assumed it was real and didn't bother reading. It was on another website entirely that I was informed it was a prank. Guess the joke is on me huh.

Very cruel if you ask me, especially as it is an announcement that has been most anticipated, and in all honesty could be announced any day now. A bit too close to the bone? _{yeah i know, it's just a bit of fun, blah, blah}

Despite what the day is known for, I actually have beaten Kirby Canvas Curse this morning.

I was tempted not to log on at all today. The front page of the majority of websites (I'm reluctant to even check this NL's) is filled with either bad jokes or just plain misinformation, and forums tend to get spammed with even worse.

I am amazed. I saw a forum on the homepage, with a monkey with a tinfoil hat and my first thought was "let's see what was locked now" Always seems to be the case lol.

But on topic, I actually really like it. It was a cruel joke from Nintendolife, and even though I was expecting it, the format looked like vc-reviews, and the source was a tinyurl, I STILL believed it for a moment. I think that makes me a fool lol. I actually laughed when I realized how silly I was.
