@ELI-ASH That was my source. I got it from Wiiwarewave in the anime section of course so if this is just an early announcement we might not hear anything about it for a while still. For all I know it could be he wants to revive it. Unfortunately you would have to ask the user over there where he seen or heard it from.

I know it can be a bit awkward to watch, though. I know when I first watched it, I thought it was funny, but felt really uncomfortable with it. Then I watched it with my brother and we both loved it.
Basically, if you're a straight guy, watch it with another straight guy.
I don't know what you're talking about, I saw the first episode (and some other things) before, and it was fine. I watch Watamote if I want uncomfortable comedy.
Huh. That's weird. I don't find Watamote uncomfortable at all.
Different strokes, I guess.
Best thread ever

Do you mean Rukiafan? I wouldn't put much stock in anything he says. He tends to post baseless rumors he hears or even outright makes things up - I know of a few times where the only source we could find was him. If big news like that is not on Anime News Network by now, it's probably false.
Love Live! is definitely my favorite anime of the season. The character's are all unique and fun to watch, the lessons they learn and the troubles that they overcome are quite emotional. I don't think there has been an episode where I wasn't smiling at some point or another.

No it wasn't him. He alerted me of the post but the user was Toughgamer.

LOL. Did they just show a BET commercial during the boondocks? The irony.
EDIT: Heeeey! That new Boondocks was pretty funny! Much better than last week. I actually laughed hard at one or two parts. I guess every episode of this season is just going to be hit or miss. Meh.
Like Turtle pointed out, I'm also not really liking the continuous storyline thing. The Boondocks has always been continuous but the episodes haven't been THIS closely connected to one another before. It's annoying the crap out of me because I swear the character's are developing less than when the episodes weren't a continuing storyline. If anything they're… devolving? Is that the term? Granddad sold himself into another crappy situation to get money? Again? Seriously? I know his weakness is women, he's in a bad situation, and he's not meant to be an incredibly bright character to begin with but he can't be THAT dumb.
McGruder leaving definitely shows. The only thing I really feared is what ended up happening. Huey has been silenced. Yes not every episode in previous seasons was centered around him or had him criticizing, but he had more screen time than this. Next week looks to be about Granddad again too. But I guess it has only been 5 out of 20 episodes.
Speaking of next week it doesn't look too bad. Hopefully it's enjoyable.

Lol, I saw that tweet! Between that and the Nature Valley thing, twitter's been pretty abuzz with anime lately. I've heard mixed things about Love Live S2, mainly that it goes back on some characterisation from S1.
Also, Ping Pong the Animation is fantastic and everyone should go watch it!
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

Regardless, it's been over a month since he said that, and the news isn't on the proper channels. I think it's safe to say that it wasn't legit. I should also note that what he talked about sounds very much like a fanfiction I just found about a Yumi Urameshi: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8628282/1/yu-yu-hakusho-story-of...
the climax of the Chimera Ant arc in Hunter X Hunter is a fantastic example of how to make you more invested in EVERY CHARACTER POSSIBLE. It's crazy. Episode I just watched is a perfect example of that.
You feel a ton of sympathy for Killua who after episodes of trying to get his frustrations out with fighting, breaks down just weeping at his inability to reach his friend and it is the most sympathetic scene of the entire series. And an interesting bit of character development as someone who was trained to be this heartless assassin now crying like an actual child, and an interesting contrast to Gon at this point. And then you find out Palm has been possessed and everyone becomes tragic but his emotional breakdwn actually caused her to break free of Pouf's possession and he defies and squashes his little bug form like "I am me, **** YOU" and it's bad*** and awesome. This is really great shonen stuff, I'm not even sure it would work elsewhere but here it's perfect.
So I found out Gundam Build Fighters ended over a month ago. Thank God that's over with. Meanwhile the last episode of Gundam UC plays in theaters starting this saturday. Then I only have a few more weeks until it comes out on DVD and I can finally watch it. Needless to say I'm excited as hell.
@Jollykarp: Oh, that was actually a thing? I thought it was just a meme some guys made up. I guess anime is starting to become a common market device here in the West huh.
In other news, a second season of Hitsugi no Chaika (Chaika the Coffin Princess) has been announced, and it is set to air in October of this year. I've been following the anime this season, and I have to say the story is pretty good so far. It certainly contains enough mystery and drama to keep me interested.
Another anime I've been watching this season is No Game No Life. The music and the animation are very good in my opinion. And despite its absurdity and fan service, the characters can be quite clever. The two main protagonists love making references to other anime and video games whenever the situation is appropriate too; I know some people will get a good laugh if they manage to catch them.
The best and shortest description I have for TWGOK is "the everything good about modern anime" anime.
i also finally found the description of Soul Eater I had been trying to figure out. Basically, if you locked Tim Burton in a room with nothing but Naruto and One Piece manga for 3 days, he would make Soul Eater.
