@CanisWolfred What type of series are you looking to accompany Kill la Kill? I could recommend something that would be fitting, but I need a general sense of what you want.
Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar. Please contact me before using my custom avatar!

Watched over 100 episodes of Naruto within the Free Trial period. That last arc was okay, with Tsunade and Jiraiya. The battle against Orochimaru was extremely intense, and I didn't mind seeing how Naruto masters his new move.

Basically something that's still excentric and exciting, but more intelligent and interesting. First thing that sprung to mind was Death Note, followed by Code Geass, but I'm not in the mood to rewatch those yet.
Can we take a moment and appreciate the amazingness that is Shirai Kuroko? Seriously, I think she's one of the most hilarious anime characters out there.
So the Fairy Tail anime return. I read somewhere the art style is going to be different for the new season. Is that true? I'd love something different instead of the rather bland style their used.
Got a little extra time today, so I got on YouTube and watched episodes 7 & 8 of New Cutey Honey (the final two episodes). These two episodes offered the same kind of fun the rest of the series offered.
As for the series as a whole, it was pretty fun transforming hero show (though it may vary, depending on your tolerance for fanservice). I actually really liked the concept of her being able to transform into multiple personas (whether it be a biker, knight, samurai, ninja, etc.), as it meant that no two fights would ever be the same, and it added an element of surprise (yeah, I'm sure the idea was partially an excuse to have multiple tranformation sequences per episode, or even fight, for the sake of fanservice, but I really think it worked out well). If there's one thing I'm disappointed in, it's that it doesn't have a proper conclusion (the studio had planned to make it 12 episodes, rather than the 8 they were able to), but it was a good time altogether.
Also, I see someone has the live action film adaptation posted (that one @Jollykarp mentioned), so I may give that a look in the future.
Can't wait for Toonami & the premier of Black Lagoon later tonight!
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
Bleach - Alright I guess, though I'm not invested in it right now.
Naruto Shippuden - Now things are starting to go somewhere. Hope to see some good action next week.
One Piece - Boy did they get their butts whipped. Not a big fan of Lippi's tranformation, though (his body looks a little too broad or something, it just seems off). That's a small nit-pick though, & I'm enjoying it. The close up of the pigeon with the flames reflecting in it's cold stare was definitely the most epic image of the night, lol.
Blue Exorcist - Still feeling a little uneasy watching this one, but it is a quality show, and others have said, this one had a surprising moment or two.
Black Lagoon - Definitely earns it's TV-MA rating, lol. Seems like it'll be a nice contrast to the fantasy themes that make up most of the premiering line-up, a good way to shake things up to end the night. I feel so sorry for Rock, though
Well, time to see if I can't find the next InuYasha on YouTube, so see ya' later.
Watched Black Lagoon earlier on adult Swim Toonami I thought it was quite Interesting. I will probably end up watching it again next week.
Waiting for Mario kart 8, ittle dew, Nes Remix II, Shovel Knights, and Ballpoint Universe for Wii U.

Well last night I finished the Zoydlk (or whatever Killua's family's name is lol)Family Arc of Hunter X Hunter, and started watching more Magi with its second arc. (Only 2 episodes) Now that I've watched 26 eps of Hunter X Hunter, I'm going to finish the first season of Magi, I've only watched 5 eps so far. But these last two eps really gave me an Avatar The Last Airbender vibe with its young hero who's the incarnation of some important figure who needs to bring peace to the various nations.

I've never really been able to speed through anime because I generally watch it on my laptop, but thanks to my new shiny smartphone and the Crunchyroll app, I sped through the first arc of HxH last weekend, and started the Zoldyck Family Arc on Thursday, finishing it last night. So Heaven's Arena is next, I'm excited for that. The show has really drawn me into its world, it's fast pace really makes it a lot more enjoyable than most other shonen adaptations I've seen.
However, as I said, I'll be finishing Magi Season 1 before I return to HxH, and I'm loving it after those last two episodes. As I said, it really gives off an "Avatar" vibe, it's great. Also, since Crunchyroll is adding more and more Archive One Piece episodes every week, it won't be long before I can start speeding through that on my phone.

Hrmm, just wondering, do I need to have seen/read the first two parts of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to understand/enjoy Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Catchers?

Tekkaman Blade II - Watched episodes 1,2, & 3 tonight! Wow, this is was absolutely awesome. Of course, it's a sequel to the original series (set 10 years later), so it has a new main cast, though a couple of familiar faces from the original pop up from time to time as well, which is cool.
Being an OVA series, the animation quality is fantastic, and it makes all the fights very exciting. Well, because of that, and now apparently Tekkamans are commonplace, on both sides (and yes, Tekkamans does seem to be the plural they're going with, rather than Tekkamen), which is cool. It's like they took the concept of the original & dialed it up to 10 (oh, and they decided to add fanservice as well apparently, though it's not surprising given it's a 90's OVA).
However, by far the most exciting thing was seeing the original Tekkaman Blade step out of his office and onto the battlefield in epic fashion in episode 3.
Needless to say, I'm looking forward to seeing how this ends up.
