Just got off of YouTube!

Cutie Honey (live action) - Wow, this was absolutely terrible, but in a very laughable way. This is one of those occasions where they tried to replicate everything that works in an anime into a live action film (except for the fanservice, which was very toned down), where all that stuff just doesn't work in the same way (and on top of that, it had a low budget). It might be a novelty watch and provide a few cheesy chuckles for fans of the character or series, but nothing more than that.

Tekkaman Blade II - Episode 4 tonight! What a very surprising & unexpected turn of events. I think I know why they did what they did, but it still came as a shock. Let's see how this folds out.

I just finished THE UNLIMITED: Hyoubu Kyousuke, and I must say, I'm impressed. Definitely a fantastic series. Well-choreographed action and a surprisingly well-written story. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone wanting something to watch.

Best thread ever

Hrmm, just wondering, do I need to have seen/read the first two parts of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure to understand/enjoy Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Catchers?

not really it doesn't have a complicated plot and most of it is re-explained but it IS more enjoyable if you watched/read the previous parts

goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

I've been meaning to finish it for forever, but I seem to lose interest in shorter series easier than longer ones...

Huh. It's the opposite for me. I still haven't finished Soul Eater.

^Oh, and speaking of Soul Eater, on the new episode of Man at Arms (on YouTbue), they forged Tsubaki's twin scythe form.

The Spring season is right around the corner. Anyone pumped for the new series? While there's a healthy amount of stuff I'm planning to watch, some of my more anticipated series are Ping Pong The Animation, Captain Earth, and Mushishi 2.

Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar.

I'm interested in Captain Earth, Soul Eater NOT!, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 3: Stardust Catchers, Black Bullet, and Knights of Sidonia. I'll try the first episodes of each, and determine which I want to keep watching.

Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass

Just finished up the newest chapter of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi!

The masters of Ryozanpaku look to be in trouble, as they fell for the trap set by yami's masters, and now have to both fend off an attack by skilled foes who are in a greater number, all while avoiding a rain of arrows expertly aimed at them at all times!

Meanwhile, Kenichi & Miu were happy to discover that Shigure has escaped on her own, but now they must face off against the leader of Yomi & his two bodyguards!

Captain Earth, Knights of Sidonia, Break Blade, Gundam UC ep. 7...all the Mecha basically are the ones I'm looking forward to. I guess I might check out Soul Eater Not, M3, Mekaku City Actors, and Mahouka koukou no Rettousei are all maybes, but the chances of me actually watching them are pretty low...

Break Blade also sounds interesting. So many good looking shows this season, gaah!

Kind of waiting for DBZ Kai and Fairy Tail in April not watching a lot of anime atm but keeping up with a few Manga series ( Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan and Naruto)

I don't have plans to watch Fairy Tail at the present, I've also heard quite a few negative things about it, and I didn't watch the first 175 episodes...so yeah, not watching that. Same deal with DBZ Kai, I've never watched/read DBZ in any fashion, just the first two arcs (so far, still reading in my off time) of the original series.

Anime watching: Mobile Suit Gundam, Lupin III, & Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable
Reading: The Golden Compass

Just started watching Psycho-Pass, and I have to say: I'm pretty amazed.

Also, for all those who've watched/know the general concept of Evangelion (Warning: NSFW language):

There's like 4 of these. I really recommend watching them all the way through.

Mushishi 2 and maybe Ping Pong. I'll probably spend some time finishing off stuff from this season.

I also really want to watch Byrnhildr in the Darkness, but I hear it's going to have a crazy amount of gore :/

always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)

For this upcoming anime season, I'm looking forward to Love Live! School Idol Project S2, Date a Live II, and that GJ-Bu@ special.
