A well known street artist made this. It's not a Photoshop. There are people wandering around some city in Canada right now and wondering what the heck this thing is. Awesome.

I finished Mother 1 last night for the second time. It was even better than the first time, somehow. Moving onto Mother 2 tonight!

I can't imagine it'll stay up long. It's probably disturbing for anyone who doesn't know the game. This same artist started a trend of placing homemade ? blocks (from Mario) in random places, and two people who did it got arrested because someone (who apparently never played Mario) thought it was a bomb. If ? blocks scared people, this'll make someone crap himself.

@adam yes, because terrorists hide bombs in boxes with ? marks on them. IIn fact, everyone, not just terrorists, do that . That's actually cool looking.

@TL: i don't think Adam was saying he thought they were bombs himself, just that other random passersby thought the ? blocks IRL were bombs and reported them thusly. sorry, no burn. :3

Yea, this actually happened, haha. I wasn't talking hypothetically. I think someone left one at a church doorstep, which was a bad idea. I mean, if you were a priest (or whoever at the place discovered the thing), and assuming you spend all your time drinking Jesus Juice instead of playing video games like we do, what would you think the thing was? It would certainly look unusual at least. Pretty sure those arrested were let off soon after. They just had to write a letter of apology. I forget the exact details. It was pretty interesting.

If you're interested in the question block thing, you can see pictures here. I think it's pretty awesome myself. I like the idea of decorating public space. Cities can look really drab, and though this stuff is technically vandalism, it does add life to the place. Maybe if this sort of thing were more commonplace and not illegal, it wouldn't scare paranoid people so easily. But that's another topic. Let's just look at silly pictures for now!
