Topic: Amazing Deal (Ends 12/15) -- Effectively trade your 3DS for a 3DS XL for under $10

So here's what I did and I recommend everyone else do the same:
1. Find/Print a BestBuy ad for the $159 3DS XL.
2. Take said ad to Target and get them to match the price on the 3DS XL Mario Kart bundle.
3. They will not only match it but also give you a $20 gift card. I used it to pay for the bulk of the $29 protection plan, but you do what you want with that.
4. Now you've paid a net $139 effectively, plus tax so about $151 for an XL.
5. Sell your copy of MK7 on ebay. I got $35 doing buy it now. But you might get more. Net effective price after fees and shipping for the game = $27.
6. Now your XL is down to $124.
7. Sell your old 3DS on ebay. As long as you have your original box, manuals, etc. that it came with and kept it in good condition, you should be able to get a bit for it. I got $143.50 for my Cosmo Black version. After fees and shipping it came to $115. Of course I gave free priority shipping which you could charge for but I wanted it sold fast.

All in all I basically get a 3DS XL with MK7 for my old 3DS, my MK7 cart, and $9. Not too shabby.

I told a friend of mine and he actually made $20 doing the same thing by selling on Craigslist.

Not bad.......but my 3DS has so many games on the memory including the ambassador games.

From the looks of it, you have enough time to transfer your downloads from one to another.
