There's another E3 Mixer mixpot if you watch Microsoft's E3 conference using Mixer. 1 of the rewards is confirmed via Halo Waypoint to be a REQ pack for Halo 5.

@FragRed

They probably think the potential sales on Switch are too low for the time needed to downgrade it. That does look quite graphically advanced.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

I wonder if Re:Legend & My Time at Portia are ready to be released very soon.
They said they will try to show at least 2nd trailer on June 2018.

No good deed
Will I do
AGAIN...!!!

@Anti-Matter Re: Legend is definite no, since they only reached alpha stages around right now.

@NEStalgia Last E3 if you watched Microsoft's conference via Mixer you got a batch of free digital content (a Mixer mixpot), same is happening this year (of course different content).

@Grumblevolcano Interesting. I'll be watching on Windows, not on the console, and my windows box is relatively secure (not a Microsoft Account but a local one.) Wonder if I can get the app on my account anyway. Good tip!

Update: Looks like it works! Thanks! I actually love the E3 schedule they have...it's so orderly. I can almost never find a good layout for the E3 schedule (and YouTube's page takes you to videos of obnoxious "personalities" and "influencers" talking over the show. Rooster Teeth was funny for Sony's show...but they need to shut up during the actual show.) Strangely it doesn't list anything for Sony or Nintendo in the schedule....guess they're not going this year.

@NEStalgia Mixer is a Microsoft thing so while you can stream games for Nintendo and Sony systems, only Microsoft official events are covered.

Octane

I watch the conferences on NLife, for Nintendo at least, and the rest on PushSquare, they also do Microsoft.

@Octane Same here. At least on these sites the chat actually moves slowly enough to bother commenting in it, and I know some of the people, which is always a plus. Feels less fun if you're watching it in a stream with strangers or watching some YouTuber scream over the audio.

@NEStalgia Rooster Teeth did a Sony show? Loved their Halo gag reels back in the day, but apparently they have defected, and gone over to the dark side. Bunch of traitors...

@Octane I'm gonna watch Microsoft's presentation on the Xbox itself. I don't have my PC connected to my TV and I like to sit and relax on the couch while watching.

I'll probably also watch all of Nintendo's E3 stuff on the TV, courtesy of the Wii U.

And I always watch both parties, and any third party stuff, on their own YouTube or Twitch channels. Seems more fitting to me than watching a Microsoft presentation on Push Square.

And besides, it's not like I have any valid reason to go there anyway...

'The console wars are like boobs: Sony and Microsoft fight over which ones look the nicest and Nintendo's are the most fun to play with.'

EvilLucario

I'm gonna watch Nintendo's stream with friends over on Discord, that is gonna be so hype.

I'm gonna watch EA's via a small YouTuber I really like, though, and I can't wait to bask in the cringe.

Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill

I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!

Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.

@KirbyTheVampire Definitely true for the chat on PushSquare. It's usually quite busy on NLife though, don't even bother with commenting during the Smash reveal

@ThanosReXXX Nah, the chat's fun, and I think there's a great community here and on PushSquare, so it's always fun chatting with others during the conferences. Share the cringe

@BraveLilac Cory had number 9! It means something!

@ThanosReXXX Yeah, when I was searching for the Sony show right before it went on that's the "official" one Youtube pointed me at (thank's google.) There was a bit with dried fish that dragged on for far too long though, and they kept talking over actual information. So maybe they didn't defect

Mixer on Windows for MS and EA for me (let's face it, EA is just part of XBox. ) , official Youtube for everything else for me.

I'd watch Sony on my Vita, but, alas, Vita is dead.....

@EvilLucario Save the cringing for Ubi. Nobody brings cringe like Ubi. Not even EA. They just bring the sleeping pills.

So it begins in less than twenty-four hours. As a collector of Switch physical games, I'm equal parts excited and terrified. I'm budgeting a thousand dollars to spend, not only on Switch games but PS4 as well (I doubt the Switch will get games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Death Stranding). If I were to rank my desires for this E3 I'd rank them: Switch third party announcements (single-A publishers to triple-A publishers) > Cyberpunk 2077 > Switch first party announcements (eager for a Fire Emblem Switch reveal) > Death Stranding > release dates for previously announced Switch games (Metroid Prime 4, Smash Bros., Travis Strikes Again, etc).

Up first, EA at 11am CST tomorrow.

Multiple-time award winner for "worst company in gaming", I'm not expecting much.

We know FIFA 19 is coming, but I'd like to see Madden 19 as well, but I have my doubts.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,536 games (as of December 14th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

@NEStalgia Hah, the sleeping pills. Gotta love that moment when they roll their robot CEO on stage to talk about statistics, the number of FIFA players, and how much they care about the gamers.

Octane

NEStalgia

@Magician EA used to make some good games. Used to. And their butchered release of Andromeda isn't going to help them make anything but Sports and Star Wars Online.

@Octane The best presentation by Andrew Wilson I've ever seen was the one at the Switch reveal in Tokyo where he's up there speaking in his Fabulous Ozzie accent and nobody in the room has a clue what he's saying until Trinnen translated for him and actually made it sound exciting.

NEStalgia

Anti-Matter

@NEStalgia
I really really hope The Sims 4 on Switch.
EA can consider FIFA 19 on Switch, why don't The Sims 4 yet ?

No good deed
