Topic: Notifications are not taking me to replies anymore.

At first I thought it was a fluke. But more and more over the last couple weeks I've had reply notifications that I click and do not bring me to the reply but only to the page. It's not a big deal when there is only like 12 comments, but some articles with 100+ it can be a little annoying. I'm only even nitpicking here because the site did not used to do this.

I suspect it might be because it is taking me to the reply, but then ads or embedded tweets or something like that is loading in afterword and moving everything around.

Not a big deal at all and I debated even mentioning it, but hey, maybe it's an easy change some admin could make and fix it, I don't know.

Don't know why this is Heavyarms55 . But this is happining right now to me too.

@Heavyarms55 typically it's working for me right now... is it happening consistently for you? would you mind giving me an example of a reply that it's not working (I can jump into your account and test it).

I have found something similar, it takes me to the page, but then the picture/pictures at the top of the article load so therefore chucking the reply lower on the page so I have to scroll down a bit to see it.

@antdickens It's hard to test it because the notifications go away after I click them once. As far as I know anyway. But it seems to be when there are Twitter tweets or YouTube videos embedded into the page.

@Heavyarms55 okay, that is likely to be related to the page jumping around after load. I'll see if I can add something that delays the scrollTo position of the comment and get things more predictable. Cheers!
