I don’t know if this is the right thread for this, but I have a topic suggestion for Nintendo Life: namely, “What to Do With Your Switch Now That Switch 2 is Here.” Don’t throw it in the trash. Instead:

Take both on-the-go for two-player fun.
Sync your old joy-cons up for some four-player gaming.
Limited on storage? Keep less intensive games on your old Switch.
One word: GameShare.

@antdickens, how can I create a forum thread, I have a cool idea for one that hasn't been done before according to a quick search.

@ShieldHero You can ask other users for minor questions, you don't have the bother the CEO (he's very nice but I suspect he is also very busy). This thread is mostly used for website errors or for ideas to make the whole website better.

To make a new thread you just go here:

I was thinking it could be helpful having a reminder article about the Pipe Tour 2025 in Mario Kart Tour. As Piranha Plant Pipeline is the only brand new Tour track that didn't make the cut in the Booster Course Pass and its not in World either, the only way you can play it is during a 2 week period in Tour (Pipe Tour) each year. This year the Pipe Tour begins on July 9th.

@Grumblevolcano I kid you not, this comment made me want to play Tour for the first time ever.

At the top of the Switch 2 forum (and all topics contained therein) it still says:

An event for new statues inspired by Donkey Kong Bananza is now on in Super Mario Run. I know you made articles for previous events that added new statues, so could an article be wrote about this?

this is so random but you know how you have lists of certain fame franchises ranked? like “Best Donkey Kong Games” or “Best Kirby Games” i personally LOVE looking at these but i noticed an odd thing: theres no list for splatoon, one of nintendos major series. and i get it, it only has three games but theres also a list for “Xenoblade Chronicles” that includes dlc so i think itd be cool to do that for splatoon. im just curious to see you guy’s ranking, but maybe i missed it? 😅

@OctolingKing13 maybe after the spinoff is released? That would make the list a bit more interesting.

Not sure if this is the right place, but I encountered a problem trying to submit a missing game.

When looking up old Fire Emblem games to add to my Games List, I couldn't find the first two Famicom games of this series. Thus, I tried adding them by submitting them as missing games. I had no problem doing so for Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light, but when I tried submitting Fire Emblem Gaiden, I got an error saying this game was already present on the site. Now, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't find it anywhere.

Can somebody look into this, please?

@stephalear I wonder if Gaiden is cross-listed with the remake which does have a page?

There are definitely other Japanese exclusives which aren't listed on the site.

That might explain it, but it shouldn't be the case. Other remakes don't replace the entry of the original title either on this site. Plus, Gaiden and Echoes are different enough to warrant two separate entries.

@stephalear this happens when you are trying to add a game, but we already have another game (pending approval) in the system with the same title. I've now approved that game so you should be able to see it now!

I also like Splatoon and I'd also love to see the games ranked, but it is logical that priority has been given to other more successful franchises, although there are exceptions like the one you mentioned because, if I'm not wrong, Splatoon franchise has sold many more units that Xenoblade. Let's give time to time.
