I’d actually love having a way to get eShop credit online and with the occasional discount.

@Eel I've spoken to the partner and they are looking to expand next year, so hopefully we'll see Mexico in 2025.

Anyone else noticing "_gl" followed by a bunch of random letters, numbers and other characters for every URL associated with this site. I only just noticed it today so is something to do with a new change to the site?

@antdickens Are you aware of this weird glitch that hides the user name and profile picture in the comments they make in the comments sections of articles and such? Do you know what causes it and how it is fixed?

@Banjo- very strange, it's working OK for me (showing the username/avatar). Is it the same every time? just that post or other posts too? Is it only on your own comments?

@antdickens All the time and just with my comments. Maybe because my account and profile picture are old, some kind of incompatibility if the websites have been updated?

I just checked again on another phone in the house and no issues. Weird thing! It's Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra the device with this issue and the screenshot I uploaded.

I noticed something unusual while creating a thread. While setting the tags, after writing “Animal Crossing” most of the suggestions would be in what I can only assume was Russian.

Not sure if that’s intended, since the site is meant to be entirely in English, no?

The issue with ads messing with my position on pages is still pretty prevalent on mobile. Don't think I've had any page refreshes as of recent, but there's been times where I had to scroll back down to a comment I was reading because an ad would pull me from it and up towards the center where the ad had been playing.

@Banjo- very strange indeed, I don't know why it would be that device only.

@Eel Thanks, that should be fixed/cleaned out.

@VoidofLight I'm aware of one outstanding issue that still needs to be fixed, that might be the cause for this. Hang in there and it should be improved soon.

Just noticed that on the Timeline site (which I use all the time), the latest forum Topics that used to be on the right hand side of the site has disappeared. Only have Most Read, Guides and Latest News there now.

Also noticed when you Edit a comment on an article it now shrinks down, is that for mobile users?

I'm seeing horror movie ads on the site now (e.g. Wolf Man), any chance of them being removed?

@Grumblevolcano we can't remove individual adverts, I would expect it to be normal to see adverts for M/18+ games and therefore horror movies would be suitable — you can click the little triangle in the corner of an advert and sometimes block the advertiser. Alternatively, we have our ad-free supporter option.

While we’re sort of on the topic, the community rules says “Use of unsavoury language including profanity and swearing is not acceptable, please remember that this website has users of all ages.” And while that’s a nice sentiment, I find it rather odd that the line is drawn there. This site not only has M/18+/Horror Movie ads, but has also extensively covered the newest Mortal Kombat (not a Nintendo game). I don’t even particularly care to see the rule change, since I rarely cuss in comments anyway, but it’s just a bit weird to me considering other kinds of content are permissible.
