Outrunner

I downloaded it. I like it. If you don't know anything about Sudoku though you should probably try and do a few first to see if you like it. There's probably free ones online. Or if you have Brain Training there's Sudoku on that. (The cartridge game).

I rather play the Artstyle games like De-Code, NEMREM, Kubos and others.

I got it yesterday and absolutely love it!!! I really liked the Brain Age sudoku interface (the first sudoku I ever tried, actually) and this one is better. Very intuitive to play, doesn't penalize you for accidentally hitting the wrong box, just very simple & straightforward.

So far it looks like you must finish the Easy games in 10 minutes or less, the Medium games in 20 minutes, and I haven't tried the Hard ones yet but I suspect you get 30 minutes. You can still keep on playing past the time limit, but that puzzle will still show as incomplete. For me, this means it's taking me more tries to close out the puzzles, which is going to mean I keep coming back to this for many many many hours. Plus, you can always go back and try to beat your best time, if you ever do get around to finishing all 150 puzzles and are still craving more. FYI, you don't have to complete all the Easy puzzles before moving on to Medium or Hard....just play whatever puzzle you want. Very nice.

I've tried a couple of other sudoku games on the DS and I think this is the most seamless interface. Plus 150 puzzles for 5 bucks? Love it a lot!!

I think a major draw for this title (for me) is that it is NO FRILLS Sudoku, which is a good thing! (as the review states on this very website.) The music is weird and carnival-like so I just turn it off... I am loving it so far. Thanks for all the reviews

I have never done a Sudoku, and I finished my first one with "Sudoku 50" (the 200 points one). I really like it and got the "Sudoku 150" just three days after that...
It's a bit difficult at the beginning if you've never played Sudoku, but the Tutorial is quite nice (it's the same in both versions) and it's really funny when you get used to it. I'd suggest to buy the small version for Sudoku beginners (50 Sudokus - that's enough for two month) and if you like it, you can buy the other 150 Sudokus later.

I think I'll get this. If you let yourself forget the solutions to the puzzles, It has seemingly endless replay value.

Which is stupid because in both EU and NA the 150 game came out FIRST.

Yes. We all know that.

Obviously there are some weird people making decisions at Nintendo. Anyway, if you have a free DS slot, you can get this one which is even cheaper:

(8 Euros, 400 Sudokus, from Hudson/Nintendo like the DSiWare games)

I had 200 points left so I bought the Sudoku for beginers just as a nice little diversion and at 200 points / £1.50 (i bought the points before prices started going up) each game lasts between 5 and 10 minutes, 50 puzzles so there is easy enough 5 hours of solid entertainment you cant go wrong. So 150 puzzles for 500 points must be an absolute bargain even though its just a simple number game.

I have Masters and it's really hard I think (haven't played in a while) so I might get the Student one when it comes out so I can get more enjoyment out of it. It should be easier.

Sudoku Student is much much easier, but the better value here is Sudoku Master, which is nearly impossible to play unless you are really good at these games or if you've played all of Student, which was released 2nd (don't understand that but oh well!) So give Sudoku Student a try first...
