They should make a Toon Link game where they have him flying around in the little Jetson saucer/car thingy airplanes are so overrated That would be the best thing ever. I wouldn't be surprised if they had him flying very soon though
EDIT: "True statement: The game runs over 25 hours from front to end. Unfortunate reality: A good fifth of that could have been cut out to better pace the experience." - Mark Bozon
Hmmm...most of that time is spent on the train and every dungeon takes 10-40 minutes at most (except the main temple which has a few of 5-15 minute sessions). Still not sure about the 25 hour total though, seemed like less. I'd say the majority of the game is spent watching the train move idly while occasionally being shot at by an enemy. Not to say the game is bad by any stretch, I just see Phantom Hourglass as an improvement and the way I see it PH would be a worthy "sequel" if the temple of the ocean king was fixed. Dungeons were still somewhat short, but longer than these dungeons and there were much more of them, not to mention the game seemed larger. I've heard it took a reviewer (IGN I believe) 10 hours to get less than 1/3 through the game and I must say that is utterly ridiculous. Getting through 2/4 of the game can likely be done in well under 10 hours. I am rather poor at Zelda games in general (took me forever to beat OoT, TP was too hard and I invested over 70 hours in it, MM was too hard, PH was slightly on the easy side) so people who complained those games were easy will blow through this thing in a day (took me two, I wasn't playing non-stop though and took many hour long breaks).
Another minor complaint about the response to this game so far. Gametrailers did give this game a 9, which is really good, but they mentioned towards the end of their review that it "by no means pushes the hardware to the limit". Now I might be going crazy here but isn't Phantom Hourglass one of the better looking games on the DS? And doesn't Spirit Tracks push it further? I did see some almost Twilight Princess like epic battles in that video review Gametrailers has... if that isn't pushing the DS then what is because I'd like to see the games that push it more!
That's ridiculous. 1UP said it was the best looking DS game by a mile.
IGN gave it a 10 for graphics and I tend to agree I don't know what gametrailers were thinking

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
I got addicted to Phantom Hourglass, it’s a good thing I received a free game guide last time or else I would spent a couple of more weeks on it. As in every Zelda game I am interested in the new weapons that will come out in Spirit Tracks like the snake whip. preordered it and getting it tomorrow.
