Different genres, so it largely depends upon your taste... but I'd say Asphalt 4. MFC was tremendously disappointing for me; I don't know if you have MvsDK yet, but if you're looking for great puzzle / platforming for 8 bucks, MvsDK is a hundred times more polished, more entertaining, and better for replay value than MFC will ever be. Asphalt 4 is a solid arcade racing game that any DSi owner would do well to pick up eventually.

MFC is awesome, so I would recommend that. Mario Kart DS is fulfilling all my DS racing needs right now. MFC really engages you and makes you think, and you get a real sense of accomplishment when you figure out a crazy puzzle. I love the concept, and it really works great with the two screens. It's really a unique game (in a fun way). I'm sure you've played plenty of other racing games, so I would go with MFC if you like solving puzzles/mazes/etc. at all.

Hmmm, I've already purchased both. They're both pretty solid games, it depends on what gaming genre you like more and if you can't decide between them, then buy both!
