Topic: Pokemon Diamond and Pearl disappearing Pokemon?

Recently me and my sister have been replaying our Pokemon games and before we restarted, we noticed most of our Pokemon have gone missing. We checked our other games to see if we traded them, but didn't find any of them. If anyone knows why our Pokemon have dissapeared, please tell us.

I had this problem a few years back I lost a few rare/good Pokemon, I never found out what happened and it never seemed to do it again. Sorry I can't help, but it is reassuring to know some else has had this problem.

Thanks, I guess we will just restart our games or maybe resort to using cheat codes to get them.

that happened to me I lost my garchomp and rosealina and I cried cus they are my fav pokemon

Yeah this happened to me i lost my Gabite, Staravia and Luxio.
Although Staravia and Luxio were easy to replace, Gabite wasn't...

This happen to me with a friend of mines, I let him barrow my game, so he can add pokemon he had, on to mines, and when I got it , half of my shinies were missing.
I ask him if he took them, he said no, and I was thinking he was lying to me. Well, I got over it, and I never seen him use the shinies I had, so they must have just vanish.
Anyway, its no big deal, pokemon come and go, shouldn't be so worry about it.

I think one went missing, but I sold all my games. I plan to start a new team with Black or White 2, hopefully complete with Houndoom!

Oh God, I have one of every Pokemon sitting in my PC in Black. I hope my hundreds of hours of playing doesn't go to waste by them disappearing!

I haven't really noticed this, but I plan on upgrading from Pearl to Black 2 this october so hopefully they'll all still be there when I get to transferring my team on over. (Mainly just legendaries and starters, y'know, non-replaceable ones)

i never got diamond or pearl cause i knew there be a 3rd one but my friend had the same problem he had all the pokemon and his luxray magmar and feraligator went missing he got mad so he had to play emerald over agian and catch anouther magby and luxio

Is it possible this is a result of bootleg cartridges? Can anyone confirm that this has happened on a cartridge that is absolutely, definitely a genuine copy?

i have the real genuine copy of the game, and I had this happen to me. I lost my shiny Steelix and some of the other pokemon.

I used to have Pearl and the only shiny I caught never went missing. Did anyone hack Pokemon with AR? I know my Black version has froze before when using codes. If you use codes on Gen 4 games and the codes aren't entered right, your pokemon can go missing. My friend had diamond and his pokemon were erased. He lost his shiny Dialga, a Luxray, a shiny Starly, a Carnivine, and all the event Pokemon he got from his GBA games. When he tried to hack new event pokemon to replace the ones he lost, he found he could not transfer the hacked pokemon to white and could not trade them to other ds games.

i've never hacked any of the games i owned. my dog put her teeth to it though

@wheels2050 I have a genuine copy and I lost my glitched darkrai. It took like two hours to find his island in the darkness! >.<

This is a known issue present in all Pokemon titles. It's called JSF.
