Although I haven't quite beaten the game yet, I wanted to be prepared for when I did, and had a few questions regarding transfering pokemon from the generation 4 games:
1. Do transfered pokemon keep the original date they were captured, or does the game use the day of the transfer instead? 2. Do pokemon keep the original style of poke ball they were caught in? 3. Do the pokemon keep any ribbons they earned in previous games?
I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to most of these questions, I Just wanted to double check.
1. They do not keep the original date they were captured, it changes to the day they were transferred over.
2. They do keep the style of ball they were captured with, including the ones from Hg/Ss, despite not being able to get those balls in the game.
3. If you haven't noticed, they've done away with ribbons in this game but anyone Pokemon transferred in from an older game that had them will keep them. It's just a little pointless now.
