Not really fond of the names, especially not Mijumaru's, but eh, I nickname most of my Pokemon anyway. Snivy sounds okay, though, I suppose...

We'll eventually get used to them, just like we got used to Piplup (liked Pochama much more), etc.
The more I consider the name "Snivy" the more I like it. Definitely better than Treecko, but still not as classic as Bulbasaur or Turtwig Smugleaf or Vipelierre (the french name) still wins it for me though. Will probably get two Snivies and nickname them.
Whenever I see Tepig, I think Tapir. I don't know why. He's cuddly enough to be a tapir, but I think he will always be Hamferno in my book. The German name (Floink) is pretty awesome too. Don't like his final evo one bit, though.
Oshawott I'm still getting the hang of. He just screams "Mijumaru!!!" Also like Moustillon (French) and Ottaro (German).
All in all, the names of Pokemon have had their fair share of duds (Burmy, anyone?), but ultimately it's ok. We get over it, probably give it a nickname, and move on
BTW, what do y'all think of the new Unova region? I think I prefer the Spanish name for it better, Teselia, myself.

I still question why this didn't get the Twilight Princess treatment. Looking at the graphics makes it really seem like they had 3D in mind when making it and it might not be a good idea to release a huge title like this around the same time as 3DS.
I won't even get to my opinion of wondering why a game with dissappointing music and increasingly stupid Pokemon designs should get my money when the 2 best gens are already on DS.

Must admit, I'm warming to the names. Snivy isn't my favourite, but it makes sense. I do like Tepig - might nickname it Teh Pig - but I think the German name, Floink, is far, far better. As for Oshawott... love it!
I like Unova too. Better than Isshu, in my opinion.
my fav generation v poke is zorua. I seen bits of the 13th movie and he is sooooo cute. i KNOW BLACK AND WHITE IS COMING THIS SPRING!!!! However i do not know if it will be out in time for my birthday like soul silver did (if I remember right heart gold and soul silver came out on my exact birthday).
