Topic: No Club Nintendo Survey for Flipnote?

Has anyone gotten the club nintendo survey for Flipnote Studio yet? According to my "All Registered Products" page I downloaded it Aug. 12 (right near when it was released). However, it has not been added to my "Earn Coins" list, and I haven't gotten a post play survey like for the rest of my DSiWare. I was wondering if anyone had, to see if it was my error, or if nintendo just hadn't put one up there. I'm trying to get Platinum again, so if it's some sort of glitch, I'd like to get it resolved. I would think they'd have a survey, since they had one for the browser, which was free too.

I have the same problem in regards to Mappy for the VCA, I downloaded it months ago and I still have not gotten a survey. Have you tried contacting Nintendo about it?

Sent one a couple days ago but no response so far. Just wanted to see if this was a universal problem before becoming a squeaky wheel!

Well in the AU, we don't get surveys for downloadable games!

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!

Flipnote Studio does not give you a survey. End of story.

@Kidpit: Mappy VCA survey should've popped up by now, especially with the recent changes. Contact Nintendo.

Given that it's free I really dont think your gonna be getting any coins for it.

This lesbian bar doesent have a fire exit!

NOA is to greedy to give us free coins.

Good to know that nobody else got it either (except for europeans), that answers my question. Although, they did give us coins for the browser, which was also free.

How many surveys do you have to do before nintendo gives you nintendo points? Cuz i remeber that if you link your account to your dsi they may give you dsi points for doing surveys on games you downloaded. But then again when people say may they really mean probaly not.

The games worth waiting for are the best kinds.

If you link your DSi to your club nintendo account and take a survey you get 160 coins. Then when you buy DSiWare it registers and in a few weeks you get a post play survey for 10 coins. You can also register and take surveys for retail games too. Check out the FAQ on Club Nintendo and it has the coins/survey breakdown. Pretty much as soon as you register a game and take a survey, you get points.

I don't think there would be for a free game, maybe a post-play 4 weeks later.

This is a free app so let's not be too upset about no survey.. lol.

Beggars can't be choosers!, as my mom used to say.

Man, so glad the US gets treated so comparatively well--I never realized how shafted people in other countries can get by videogame companies.

And yeah, free download = no coins--it just makes sense. You didn't get points for using Pictochat either

Pictochat came on the system; flipnote and the browser didn't. You can get coins for the browser (also, you should in theory for any free wii channels that released after december 2008, though they never release free wii channels), so that's why I thought we might get them for flipnote, since they give surveys out for other free downloads. I really don't care if Nintendo didn't want to give us coins for flipnote (i'm happy with free myself, after all), I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a bug in my account. Thanks for all the helpful answers though.

Sucks for all the people in Australia though. I feel for you guys.

Oh wow... in the days of Atari (which I remember well) you guys would have fainted.. lol!! No support at all. You'd spend $40 for Pac-Man for Atari 2600, take it out of the box, play it, and that was it. Same screen, just different colors
