Topic: KingdomHearts 358/2 Days is Officially Mine!

as of Today exactly at 10:00 AM i got my hands on the game and am enjoying every minute of it i even got a strategy guide for just a little extra but i am loving this game

What would you rate it?

so far a solid 9 for sure everythings great the animation cutscenes are just breathtaking... the fights are very energetic and also everything is very well presented MUSIC is really great like it was taken straight from KINGDOMHEARTS 2

A lot of areas are taken from the first kingdom hearts game to.

So, you did get it first Tails86! I'm going to get mine soon sometime today.

SO the biggest gripes with this game seem to be that all the levels are rehashed and the Disney characters serve such minor roles.

Your thoughts on this? I'm a little hesitant on this one and will probably wait for some more reveiws. Glad to hear you are enjoying it Tails.

its everything i thought it would be if not better on a DS i mean the only thing i can find thats kinda annoying a little is if you only have items like ex. blazing shards and you want to get to your potion you have to throw those away to get to your potion unless if theres a shortcut to it that i haven't done yet

I will probably get this tomorrow even though I still haven't beaten bis and haven't even started scribblenaughts

Does one have to play the other KH games before this?

I also picked this up before school. It was torture because I didn't have my DS with me.. I'm just starting it now.

Congratulations.

I feel the game is a definite gem! I have played a few hours into it and it has definitely kept my attention. The graphics are great for the DS but more importantly, the draw distance and the amount of area you play in prior to loading, it feels just like KH from the PS1. My wife made mention that is looks somewhat like FF7 but clearer and better graphics. The Panel system the game uses is an interesting way of leveling and it gives a Chain of Memories feel, which I have CoM and enjoy it well. The story is interesting but you so far I have not interacted with the Disney characters, but I expected that with the story as it centers around Organization 13. Oh yeah, the Final Fantasy characters are not in this one, except a moogle or two. All in all, the controls are tight and there are a few different settings. The story mode is interesting and the Mission Mode and multiplayer tops the cake! If you are at all interested, pick up the game!

Yet again, a new game in my favorite series is released and my hype for it died. I shall get it sometime...

The story is downright bad. (Even worse than 2's in many ways.) but the gameplay is fun and surprisingly polished.
