Yeah, enough threads about Flipnote already, but in case anyone out there hasn't seen this yet, there is a wonderful Iwata Asks on Flipnote, in which you can read quite a bit about the history of Nintendo and animation, including stories about animating Mario in the early days, like the relation between Shigeru's designs and the renowned animator they hired.
Oh, and on the last page, be sure to watch the video of Kotabe (animator for Nintendo since the early days) walking through the process of creating a couple quick Flipnote animations of his own.
