Topic: Help with Ds Lite Wifi

Please help Me. I am confused. Since the Nintendo WiFi shutdown can I know play games like Pokemon Soul Silver on my ds lite and does this mean I can connect to the WPA2 wifi th. What I mean is can i coonect the gpokemon game to the wpa2 or do I not even need wifi to play the game please help me Thank you.

No you can't play any DS game online.

However it's only the online components that are affected, anything else should work just fine.

@Meowpheel So I can still play soulsilver and play it somewhere with no wifi. So there is now no need to connect to wifi right? So Even if I have mpa2 wifi I can still play poksmon soul silver. So what your saying is i dont need wifi at all right

Ok, first off, stop bumping your thread. There's no need to post several times in a row like that.

Secondly, yes. You can buy and play soul silver. You simply can't use the features that required a wifi connection, like online battles or the global trade station.

The Nintendo WiFi connection service for the DS/DS Lite/DSi was shut down some time ago. You should be able to play pretty much any game, including SoulSilver. The only catch is that you won't be able to use internet-based functions like the Global Trade Station (though wireless/local play with others should be fine).
