Hey everyone, I've just bought Pokemon Black in Germany and I'm waiting for my pre-purchased 3DS to play it on, but I don't see that little graphic on the packaging that I can remember seeing years ago about multiple languages. Does anyone know if this game is strictly in German, or if it will have a language option?

Beyond that, if the 3DS is region locked and I can't get an english version in this country am I screwed, or will have have to get the game from the UK?

Any help is greatly appreciated! thx

It's one of those one language per country games. Sadly, if you wanted to play it in English, you're out of luck.
And considering the huge amount of text, I can understand that decision.
Oh and region lock supposedly doesn't apply to DS cartridges, though I have some doubts about this one as it has some DSi functions. But it should work, you'll have a european 3DS, no ?

Many Europeans export from the UK anyway, you should be fine even if they decide to not put English in said game.

Thanks for the input, both of you! Why didn't I wait!? Anyone wanna buy a german pokemon game? ha

And yes it will be a European 3DS, but UK falls into that region if I'm not mistaken.

Should be easy enough to sell it on eBay, you'll probably get the full retail price for it too.
And yeah, all European systems use the PAL format.
