It seems like Gameloft released this video 3 weeks ago concerning "Castle of Magic", a title that is seemingly polished and ready to go up on the DSiWare Shop... Take a look... Looks like a fun platformer.

I read online that its already out for the iPhone and has won several awards. Many reviewers say that Castle of Magic "incorporates many aspects of successful platformers over the years and combines it all into a single game." Sounds great!!

It looks very cool, it has a Kirby feel to it too lol... will try to get it, but it looks like it will be 800 points (it deserves that price tag I think)

Oh yes, totally! I would hands down pay 800 points for this... It looks like its going to be a really great title, I'm just surprised no one has mentioned it before me today... You would think that kind of thing would get more buzz!

I really don't see why you guys complain that Gameloft is horrible. I love their UNO port on my iPod Touch and i Love most of their games, if not every single one of them I have played... then again, different strokes/different folks... Also, I didn't know that Castle of Magic had been talked about before, I did try looking for it here on NL but it did not return any results. I still think this is a great game and I hope it does see the light of day sometime in DSiShop in the very near future!

I'm sure this game is done, which makes me wonder how much of a say Nintendo has on when the game will be released.
And yeah. Gameloft isn't an original game maker, but neither is Blizzard. But Gameloft makes solid if unoriginal games on the iphone. I would LOVE to see that Gangster and Desert Storm game ported to DSi, but I imagine the DSiWare size limit is just too small for games like that.

I just find the quality in their stuff lacking. I don't mind if its unoriginal, as long as the execution is good, and I don't find the execution in Gameloft's stuff to be very good - just cheap.
I think it's great that they're so popular and so many other people get into their games though, don't get me wrong.
WaltzElf... I hear you. And sorry about freaking out on you earlier, I just get fed up sometimes on here... lol! I just want everybody to get along and i hate it when opinions and thoughts are so clashing that people don't. we need to realize we are here for the love of Nintendo gaming and if we aren't we need to find something else to do.

I agree. I get frustrated sometimes at people who constantly complain about the DSiWare service when, in reality, it's really quite good, is all. There's plenty on there for pretty much everyone.
Me too... I love DSiWare, I sometimes get frustrated that there is no release schedule or nothing set in stone until that day actually comes. I sometimes get frustrated that the Japanese get 6 DSiWare titles each week to our 1, but you know what, I really do love the majority of this stuff and that's why I am here!
