Topic: bejeweld twist impressions!!

im very excited about this game and with a points card coming for the holidays....anyways i love the bejeweld games on FB and the iphone and the interent (my bro has a iphone so i dont get to play much) but guys...how is it?

Just got it a couple of minutes ago. Pretty good, but I have a couple (minor) complaints. The graphics don't seem as good as those of Peggle Dual Shot (the other PopCap game I have for DS) and this'll be coming out as a regular DS game in about 2 months. Other than those two minor things it's not that bad. Perfect for on-the-go gaming or if you're waiting for it to come out for regular DS (like me). If you liked Planet Puzzle League Express you'll definetly like this one.

is it like bejewled 2 on my computer?

Don't know. If you have Planet Puzzle League Express it is controlled similarly. This is the only version that I have.

No, it's not geekmaster. It's a different way of playing but it still retains the addictiveness of the standard Bejeweled gameplay.

Yep. You have a cursor that modes four shapes at once. You have more freedom than traditional Bejeweled. Don't get me wrong, I love Bejeweled like crazy but I'm pleased with this new way of playing as well. Especially so because there are plenty of gameplay "gimmicks", shall we say, that add more variety to the experience than traditional Bejeweled.

huh i didnt know you move 4.....not sure i like that...if love the original bejeweld gameplay will i like this?

Well as I said, I'm a big fan of Bejeweled. I really like this new way of playing. If you want to play it safe you could always wait for a review but in many ways, I think it's a great game with even more variety than normal Bejeweled.

Not AFAIK. But I do know getting on the table isn't easy. I made it passed Level 10 I believe and still didn't make the cut despite the fact that I thought I was doing really well with Cascades, etc.

Does it include the original game?

Nope. Like in Bookworm DSiWare, there's only one single-player mode. This one also contains a multiplayer mode, though. I imagine the retail release probably has classic gameplay.
