That's why I use screen protectors. They also kind of hide these rainbow dashes in the screen.

But i guess nothing lasts forever.... Specially touch screens.

Like the above guy said yes eventually your 3DS will get scratches.
Just don't bang it around too much and you should be able to avoid most of them.
It's not rocket science. Take care of your stuff and It'll take care of you.

Unfortunately I think you'll get some scratching eventually - no matter how careful you are!

I've put good-quality (Hori) screen protectors on which do a great job and don't scratch easily themselves.

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

Ditto for me. Why risk it? You paid all that money on the console, why not spend a few more and get yourself a decent screen protector?

After my first (original) DS got pretty badly scuffed on the screen, I refused to even touch the screen before having a screen protector for the rest of them! Especially on a 3DS they're necessary, even on the top screen!
