Topic: 500 DSi Points

Posts 1 to 20 of 20

For a while now, I've had 500 points sitting around in my DSi. Does anyone have suggestions as to what I should buy, or should store them?

I have:

Pictobits
Warioware: Snapped
Boxlife
Aquia
Precipice
Birds & Beans
M vs DK 3

I'm happy to hear all suggestions, even if a game costs more than 500 or isn't out in NA yet.

PS. My first topic!

@Andrex12 He already has both of those games. Pop+ Solo is pretty good, and it's out in NA. Dr. Mario Express is okay; it was a launch title. While don't own it, I've also heard good things about Planet Puzzle League Express.
EDIT: Asphalt 4: Elite Racing and Mighty Flip Champs are great 800-pointers. Also, have you downloaded a great little app called Flipnote Studio? If not, do so right now, if so, good for you. And if you don't have it already, you might want the internet browser.

Does Dr. Mario Express have anything special, like extra modes? If not, i'm sticking to my good old b&w Dr. Mario for gb. I've been hearing good things about pop+, I'll look into it. In the meantime, can anyone second that?

Yes, I have flipnote and internet browser. I might put asphalt and Might Flip Champs on my to get list.

Uh-oh... I left my dsi charger at my cottage! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Why, Nintendo? why must you torture us by changing the charger on the dsi? :,(
Guess I'll have to wait two weeks to get it back. Its not too bad... I still have a good amount of power left.

All right, so far, the only 500 point game i'm interested in is pop+ Solo. I've found mixed reviews for it, so I may wait a bit longer to make sure it's really the game I want (I hate wasting money).
I'd be interested to hear your opinions on base 10, looks interesting but I think will get dull fast.

Go for Art Style Base 10/CODE. It has become my favorite Art Style game and the download play vs is really fun and only requires 1 copy of the game. It's probably the most packed Art Style game with zerosum mode, puzzle mode, endless mode, and vs mode. Very much worth 500 points!

Do you really mean it, bboy?

Is there wifi for base 10? I don't think my brothers will be too keen on playing an art style game, they thought I went crazy when I was having fun folding boxes.

Do your brothers play a lot of FPS's?

EDIT: No, no Wi-fi for any of the Art Style games, much less BASE 10.

Not really, they just like teasing me. Plus, I don't really blame them for not liking the idea of a video game based entirely around folding boxes.

I understand you are from Canada and that Suujin Taisen isnt released outside Europe and Japan yet (Japan has retail version), but I would really reccomend holding onto your 500 points for that game as ive found that it is the best value for money DSiware game there is at the moment. Infact it holds up to the 800 point games very well.
It includes worldwide wifi multiplayer (no local though?) and a decent story mode and even a puzzle mode so it covers all grounds perefectly well from a quick 5 min play through to an all night online session.
