Hello everyone,

Emojis are now usable on the comments and forums! Be sure to thank @antdickens for this much needed upgrade!

I'm the same age as him and I'm still confused when "emoji" became the new term.
When I was younger I remember these things being called emoticons.

Just what I gather from a teeny bit of research: emoji is a Japanese term referring to their style of "emoticon", wheras the latter term is commonly used in the Western hemisphere... really which term you choose is simple preference.
