I ordered these in three different sets. Unfortunately, all the Koopalings didn't came in the same set so I had to order them in bundles with other figures like Cheep Cheeps, Penguin Mario, Pokey, and a bunch of other random figures that I didn't want.
I just want to know, I know these things are really small but does anyone know how big they are compared to amiibos. I'm asking because I plan to put them with my Bowser (Mario Party Version) amiibo and I know he is pretty large. I'm just curious how small they will look next to him.
On topic: It's hard to tell from the video, but they look like the perfect size in comparison to amiibo Bowser. Enough that I also ask...
Slightly off topic: Can you post a link to where you got these? I might also be interested in displaying some among my amiibo (and similarly sized Nintendo) figures.
@bro2dragons:
I found two of the bundles on AliExpress.com. The other one I found on Amazon. Each bundle was about 15$-17$ which isn't bad because each set comes with about 12 figures. They are not anywhere near as detailed or as good quality as an amiibo though and smaller but I still wanted them because they are not sold in the U.S.
EDIT -
I misspelled the name, they are Furuta.
Here is a video series where a guy reviews every single Mario figure Furuta made. They also made figures for Animal Crossing, Pokemon and Disney movies.
Still waiting for my Koopaling figures to come in the mail.
While waiting, I may have lost a little self control and went coo coo for Koopalings when I discovered how much Koopaling merchandise there actually is out there....
Purchased a Ludwig coffee mug and a Bowser Jr. greeting card that I plan to give my friend and his wife when they celebrate their baby's first birthday. I also ordered a Bowser Jr. plush stuffed animal but I'm still waiting on it. Will update when I get the Koopa Kid figures.
Ooh! Those are cool, I love the Koopalings, where did you find them?
AliExpress.com and Amazon.
Some of them arrived today:
These came along with Penguin Mario, Spike, Peach, Mario, etc and a bunch of others I did not want but they were in the bundle with Lemmy, Roy and Larry.
Overall, I am happy. They definitely are not in the best shape and have scuffs (you can notice one on Lemmy's eye) but this is about what I expected. My only complaint is some of them are not as stable on their stands as I'd like them to be, as it is a separate piece. Lemmy and his ball are the ones that are the most unstable.
This is what they look like next to a Smash Bowser amiibo but I plan on putting them next to my Mario Party Bowser at work.
I am so excited to get Wendy, Iggy, Morton, Ludwig and Bowser Jr. I will update when I do.
I have been wondering if it's worth getting the new Bowser Jr. Amiibo since I already have the Furuta figure. Though I wish I would have had this one without his bandanna on but it comes in a separate set that didn't have Ludwig along with it.
