Hi

I was asking on a nintendo community on facebook or if ordering on amazon was safe etc. Someone answered that he always received his goods but one time he received a "fake amiibo". It was boxed but the colour and some details were different . So he basically said he received a boxed amiibo that turned out to be fake. Now im paranoid about buying amiibos from stores I don't know etc lol.. How can I see the difference between a original boxed amiibo and a fake boxed amiibo? I'm planning on buying an amiibo that is unavailable everywhere else from someone who said they want to sell their collection but now I'm a bit scared that this maybe is a "fake amiibo" and that I won't notice the difference and thus have a fake amiibo in my collection..

What do you think? I'm really desperate to get that one amiibo but I either must buy it from amazon for quite some money or second hand..

There are no guarantees, but you can look at a trader's feedback on Amazon - a high positive feedback value combined with a high number of sales is generally an indicator of a good, reputable trader.

I've used Amazon for 10++ years and have never receieved faulty or fake goods. I have had a couple of problems with other things, but a quick call (or online chat) resolved the issues very quickly.
