Games like Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8 wasn't build with Amiibo in mind, something a lot of the future games from Nintendo will be. Which and how do you think Amiibo will be compatible with the future games? (some games are confirmed to work with Amiibo, some are not but could still be)
My prediction (example):
Splatoon: Which: The biggest stars of Nintendo, like Mario, Link and samus. How: Maybe they're some small minions who help painting, but can easily be destroyed.
I'm a Danish gamer, but I mostly play on Nintendo hardware. I love gaming local co-op, and playing Mario Kart with my cousin (she's owning me btw!)
My favourite game franchises are Super Smash Bros. & Sly Cooper.
When I started reading the your perdition on splatoon I was expecting them to become the characters themselves (just as areskin). Though I would like to see their ink be their colours.
Like mario being red, link being green and DK as brown (well maybe not brown that I think about it).
Though it would be interesting for the Legend of Zelda amiibos to interact with the new zelda game coming out.

That would be interesting. So like costumes on the Splatoon characters?

I doubt we'll get full on playable characters besides the inklings in splatoon (personally I wouldn't want any other characters ANYWAY. Nintendo need to embrace this new IP.) But I would like to see perhaps some cosmetic items for inklings. Okay, here's a little list of ideas I came up with.
Splatoon: Character hats - Mario cap, Link hat, Samus helmet, Pikachu ears, Kirby knit hat.
Captain Toad: Character sprite puzzles - puzzles built in the shape of that character's 8-bit sprite.
Yoshi's Wooly World: Yarn buddies - Nonplayable characters that can help you out. They are a bit like the Smash amiibos, and can be trained and leveled up. They are represented by yarn versions of different characters. Examples would be yarn Mario, Fox, Link, Samus, etc.
Mario Maker: Playable 8-bit characters - Play as characters with the same physics from their NES days!
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse: New Copy Abilities - Allows Kirby to use the same moves he had from those characters in Smash. Example would be if you scan Samus in, Kirby gets her signature helmet, and her blaster shot from Smash as a copy ability.
Zelda Wii U: Post Game cosmetic skins.

I have no interests in the game but if Nintendo did this idea then I would buy the game but I say it will only be the characters that had games for the nes.

Yeah that's what I mean. So you would have Mario, Link, Samus, Kirby, Pit, Luigi, Peach.

Maybe Duck Hunt

For SMT X FE, depending on how the game turns out the amiibo use could mirror that of hyrule warriors and grant unique weapons for the FE amiibos and random items for everything else, or have them as units you could use kinda like the spotpass characters you could get in FE awakening.

What is SMT X FE?

I always thought they should make a level creation-esque game with amiibos, but maybe you could use amiibo to copy items from games to add parts.
For example, if I got Star Fox U, and used an amiibo to copy data from that game to the amiibo game, it would unlock items like arwings, smart bombs, etc.
It would let you get an awesome game, and have potential level creation items for the other game, and it's certainly better than the randomness of Disney Infinity Power Discs.
Switch: SW-5078-2519-1991

Currently Playing: Super Mario Maker 2 (MMID: QKY-VYP-NVG), Smash Ultimate, Ultimate, Baba is You (!!!), Ys VIII

Actually, I was thinking that the amiibos might end up replacing Kirby with the character used in the shape of a ball. For example, if you scan, say, Link, you'd get Link as a ball.
