It's happening! Haven't been this excited for a game announcement for a long time.

I like the fact that its based off of ALttP which is my favorite Zelda of all time. The drawing mechanic is interesting too. Cant wait for this one as well. Gotta say the 3DS is turning out to be my favorite current gen console.

Anyone else a little concerned about the graphic style? Just like the new Yoshi's Island game it seems a little off-putting personally. Hopefully it looks better with 3D.

This is going to be an incredible year for Zelda fans, between the re-release of the Oracle games, the new 3DS Zelda, and the Wind Waker remake.

This definitely stole the show for me, looks awesome plus the nostalgia angle certainly doesn't hurt either.

Kinda wish it was sprite-based like its predecessor, but I do dig the retro look.

Did anyone catch if this is an eShop game or not? I like the idea of Nintendo going experimental and releasing smaller Zelda games.

I am hoping so much that you don't have to use the touch screen to walk. I hated doing that.

From what I saw in the video, the game will be controlled on the circle pad. The action was on the top screen I think.

I'd guess no. It was top screen gameplay.

I highly doubt you could use the stylus when you're in the wall like that. It's probably Slider/D-pad controls.

Anyways, I'm super psyched for this! Best news all day, and it looks fantastic! I was hoping Nintendo would have something that could rival 3D Dot Game Heroes, and I think they may actually be up to the challenge here.

I doubt its touch screen. It's 2d after all. It looks nothing like the ds offerings so no worries! I didn't care for the 2 ds ones either.

I got used to the looks of both games pretty quickly, but yeah, they were off-putting at first.
