In the original version, I had a similar glitch where I beat a challenge enemy before getting the quest. I was EVENTUALLY able to get it to reappear, but it took a lot of luck and reloading.
Maybe the Desire Sensor from Monster Hunter 4U infected this game, lol
Oh dear goodness no, keep that thing far away.
Really diggin the game so far. Got the game rollin, killed a few enemies, upgraded a few arts, got a few gems from the collectibles, learned the basics of the battle system, and saved right at the cave entrance. I'm Level 10- I told myself I wouldn't undertake the first real quest until I had gained 10 levels... perhaps a lesson I learned from games like Final Fantasy X- always grind early on.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
I'm Level 60, losers. Or something competitive like that!
This is absolutely one of the best games I've ever played. Straight into my top 10. Unless the ending ruins it......"And so Shulk came to realise, he WAS the Bionis." (if that's actually the ending I deserve a prize of some kind)
I am pretty addicted to it right now. Monster Hunter has to wait a little.
The music and story keeps me pretty engaged.
I like that the death-system ist pretty forgiving and that the wrong direction is hinted usually by enemies one-hitting you in those areas.
I must also slightly correct my previous opinion on the graphics: While Monster Hunter still is a lot prettier the environments outside the colony(/ies) look a lot better. I am still not turning my 3D on in this game since the graphics tend to hurt my eyes then. In colony 9 I had the impression that some pixels were attached to another layer than they were supposed to be in.
But it is indeed pretty in its own way. The designs are awesome.
Maybe I was shocked by the first cutszene because Dunban is an especially poorly designed character. The others look pretty alright once you get used to the style.
Still I only have played about 11 hours, but today I even missed the tram to work while standing at the station playing. I suppose that is ...... a good sign ..... kind of. ^^
Never want to come down, never want to put my feet back down on the ground.
Does anyone know how I can use the books I bought to increase various artes maximum levels? I bought several but I still can't level their respective artes any further, and I can't find the books I bought in my items or anything; they only shoe up if I'm selling to a merchant.
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.

In the items and equipment menu keep scrolling to the right and you will find them.
@LaCru79 Thank you! In hindsight I'm not sure how I missed it. I still think it's strange that I have to manually go in the menu and use them instead of them immediately taking effect when I buy them.

I encountered an invincible wolf at gaur plain. I back-slashed it multiple times but nothing happened.
One time after I almost died in battle, the music and voice casting disappeared entirely. It didn't even come back when I travelled to other areas, but I kinda liked it, the world was quiet and peaceful. The sound came back after I had restart the game.
