Topic: Why not bring Virtual Boy games to 3DS?

Isnt this a no brainer? let us play those games in glorious 3d that we never got to play because the systems was too expensive and fizzled away?

I always thought that'd be a good idea. The 3D works so much better on the 3DS; you could play the games without getting nauseous! ...plus, you can turn off the 3D on the 3DS, so the games could be played in 2D now, too, for those who would like that.

Is there anything in that library worth playing?

And that's it. That's not a worthy investment. What they should do is remake Wario Land 3D, maybe as a 3D Classic or something.

i think there would be many people who would buy at least one virtual boy game on the 3DS just for the sake of being able to play one of the games for that infamous console. if its one or two $ im in

I dig this idea, as I only played Virtual Boy once at a friend's house nearly 20 years, and at the time I was intrigued.

I'm going to add this suggestion to my Club Nintendo surveys. Who knows, maybe someone will take note.

They could include the headgear as a club nintendo reward for 2000 coins so you can get the authentic experience

Terrible library of games (apart from wario as mentioned) and they would look awful unless they redone the colors and spent some time properly remaking the titles, rather see the effort put into releasing all the other great systems games on 3ds, (gba, snes etc.)

Uhhh, no thanks...remakes, maybe, but the 3D gives me minor headaches on the 3DS...the red visuals would just worsen that.

i guess what im trying to say is that there is this library of games that are already done, under the brand "Virtual Boy" which was 3d, and now they have a mass produced and accepted 3d console. just makes sense to bring those games as is to 3ds eshop.. maybe bundle all the games into one download for 1000 points or something..

im not saying the games were good or worth it but they were there.. and it would be fun to see what they were since i never got to play them.. i guess i could just watch someones video on youtube of them.

I think a colorized version of Virtual Wario Land should be made for the 3DS eShop

We need Teleroboxer, but that's about it.

There is actually a long list of great Virtual Boy games.

But you know: you can turn off the 3D on 3DS, something you couldn't do on the Virtual Boy.

But you can't turn off the red colors, which is the very problem with those games. The 3D is fine.

...but I kinda like the red...

...but it could easily be like the Game Boy virtual console games; which are displayed in greyscale; but you can play them in the original pea-green color scheme, too.
