I feel like Nintendo should have just bit the bullet and made the resolution of the 3DS screens exactly double that of DS, lite, i, and XL. That way the games would looks just as sharp! Oh well....it doesn't really bother me unless I'm playing something like Pokemon or Picross. For things like Okamiden it still looks ok.
is just me or when the next generation comes all the older games are not really relavent to me? lol. i enjoy the classic DS game but i dont like trying to spend all my time re-playing it
This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

i think you might need to take the lithium polymer batterie out the back of the 3DS and let it cool off for 5 min. honestly if you play long enouth without turning off your 3DS it will wear on the ram
What's this now?
RAM (random access memory) is the core component to rendering the graphics of the 3DS. playing 64bit and above games for long periods of time will put a grinding hault on the ram of your 3DS. also the battery is a pretty easy fix. like any phone just take it out and let it cool off for a while then pop it back in
Uh... I don't believe that it matters how many bits a game has. If you have 200 sprites on the screen with a 16 bit game, it will still lag. And ALSO, you do know that the RAM isn't affected by how long you play. Data isn't left behind on the disk if it doesn't need to be rendered.

yes indeed sprites make all the difference. and i dont think RAM would be affected at all. maybe the cpu or gpu but not the ram. it strikes my curiosity to see how far 3DS games will go to use the ram on the 3DS. maybe a call of duty game or mt-framework engine game will use more ram than other games

I'm playing Pokémon White with the correct aspect ratio, and the smaller size is just fine for me. It's certainly better than the alternative.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
i think i will just trade in both my dsi and ds lite for gamestop store credit. at this point I myself dont think i need to keep a spare ds just because of how the games look. thats my personal opinion and not advice.

@geek-master You could admit that you have no idea what you're talking about.... but if you did I wouldn't be laughing my ass of here. I really hope for humanity that you're trolling though because this is gold!
as for the problem with blurry DS games... this is what's happening: original image from Super Mario World scaled a bit using the "nearest neighbour" method which is quick but drops pixels (take note of the eyes on the fireballs and the jagged bits on the hill... those things tend to phase in and out with motion) bi-linear which takes a bit more time, produces blurring but... looks a bit better and cubic which looks the best (still some blurring) but is the most CPU intensive

You weren't trolling for reactions and lolz? well that's disappointing. If you want to figure out what the hell you're talking about with regards to the DS screen blurring problem... please read the rest of my post.

An opinion is only respectable if it can be defended. Respect people, not opinions
I take it you mean the 3DS uses the Bi-Linear method.
he knows what he is talking about. he is just pretending to be me if i knew stuff about the 3DS? either way i dont see how its funny. i have owned most current nintendo consuls by date. and i prefer nintendo by choice. believe me i am not a troll
