Dead pixels are normal to have on Nintendo handhelds in general. Unless it is under warranty, there is nothing you can do to get them fixed.
You're only option in that case is to get used to it. But honestly.....it really doesn't bother you too much like you think it will when you get over it.
Dead pixels are somewhat common. I've lucked out and have never had to deal with any, but as long as they aren't multiplying and taking over the screen(s), you should be fine. My sister's DS Lite has a dead pixel on the top screen, but it still functions fine.
Use the system for a little while and see if the dead pixels interfere with your enjoyment of playing it. If it still bothers you and the system is under warranty, send it in for repairs.
