Topic: What 3DS games should I get for my B-day?

Hi guys and gals! I've been falling apart at the seams deciding what two Nintendo 3DS games to get for my birthday along with a Nintendo 3DS XL as a birthday present. Those said games are Kid Icarus: Uprising, Super Mario 3D Land, New Super Mario Bros. 2, Star Fox 64 3D, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Mario Kart 7, and Tales of the Abyss 3D. I wish Nintendo 3DS had that kind of lineup at launch ):

I'd get 2 3DS Points cards, that way you have alot of variety and games that can give you tens of hours. You should also get Ocarina of Time 3D, if you want a long and enjoyable RPG. But Tales of the Abyss can give you that same feeling, and you can get the title at $30 at some places. Unless you have played the original of both those titles, then I'd tell you to get NSMB2.

I'm getting a 3DS XL for my bday too I'm getting Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure (it looks good & I've found a place that sells it cheap), Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy & with birthday money from the extended family I plan to pickup Mario Kart 7 & Super Mario 3D Land. I'm also going to buy some downloaded software like Pushmo (aka Pullbox) & Dillon's Rolling Western or maybe Mutant Mudds. Depends on how much they all cost in my region. Hope that helped!

Edit: Also where I'm getting the 3DS XL they're "bundling" it with a free copy of Super Monkey Ball 3D I'm not a fan of the series but its free so that's awesome.

Don't forget to save any money you received for other games in the year, too. As for my reccomendation, Kid Icarus: Uprising is a must buy. You will get hooked into it instantly.

Out of those mentioned I would definitely say Kid Icarus: Uprising and either Super Mario 3D Land or NSMB2, depending on whether you prefer 3D platformers or sidescrollers.

Definitley get Kid Icarus: Uprising. That game will last a long time. If you have a Wii I would get Star Fox 64 and OOT on there instead so you can save money (they are most likely going to go down in price too so if you want the remakes then I would wait). If you want another lenghty game get Mario Kart 7.
