Why Nicalis are releasing new games on NA eshop (Ikachan/Guxt Q1) when they haven't even released Cave story+ and NightSky over here in europe is crazy
Maybe because they are a US company?
Yes but curve studios are based in the UK yet they released Fluidity/Hydroventure in NA only a couple of weeks after it came out in Europe, so there's no excuses really.
That game was published by Nintendo though, so it doesn't really matter that the devs were UK based when it came to releasing the game.
Umm, does anyone actually have a source for Ikachan launching in 2 weeks? I checked Nicalis's blog, Twitter, official website, Nintendo's site, etc. and found nothing about a January release date, just the Q1 listing we already knew.

I found Ikachan in the North American e-shop by hitting the search button then doing advance search & it said Jan 31st.
You guys can have this title. I'm skipping downloading until feb start's these last two weeks of jan are of no interest to me at all as for new games go sorry...
Happy Gaming! (^_^)

Aban Hawkins & the 1,001 Spikes. Ugh that game kind of sucks. It's a giant pattern memorization game. Doesn't matter how good you are at platforming I swear some of the spikes don't appear for the first time until your right on top of them. There's so many more XBL indie games I'd rather have on the eShop.
nothing atm but in the near future i'm going to download Wario Land 3 and possibly Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon~ the latter of which is if i decide to download it day 1 or wait a bit and get the retail copy~
Shantae (GBC), Defenders of Oasis (GG), Kirby's Dream Land 2 (GB), Vampire: Master of Darkness (GG), Legend of the River King (GBC), Aban Hawkins & the 1,001 Spikes (eShop), Ikachan (eShop), Guxt (eShop), Denpa Men 2 (eShop), Shantae: the Pirate's Curse (eShop), and Yatagaratsu (eShop) for me (whenever they're released).
Possibly Jett Rocket II (eShop), Coaster Creator (eShop), and Harmo-Knight (eShop) as well.
I know Denpa Men 2, Shantae: the Pirate's Curse, and Yatagaratsu aren't on the list, but they're all coming eventually as well.
AiRace: SPE3D
Bit Boy Arcade (Potential, depends on both here and Wiiloveit since I actually enjoyed Plattchen)
Flipnote Studio 3D
Guxt (potential, sick of these lazy/glitchy ports)
Harmo-Knight (potential, not big on Pokemon but love rhythm games)
Ikachan (potential, see Guxt)
Jett Rocket II: The Wrath of Taikai
Nano Assault EX
Shantae: The Pirate's Curse (There better be a useful map)
Don't know anything about the DSiWare titles, not interested in VC unless we get translations
This is a signature.
Link goes here now.
Screw you.

BTW, if you have the means to do so, I suggest you try the Aban Hawkins demo that's on XBLA (in the indie section). It easily sold me on the game once it hits the eShop (I would DL it on the 360, but I don't have a hard drive).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
Isn't Aban hawkins 1001 spikes less than £1 ($1) on XBL?
What I want from the eshop:
Cave Story+
Nightsky
1001 spikes
Mutant mudds 2
Denpa men 2
Megaman 2-6
and maybe Ikachan, Guxt, Jett rocket
Revenge of the Gator, both Shantaes (GBC & eShop), both SMBs (though I could always just play them on the Super Mario All-Stars Wii version I'm neglecting), WL3, Ikachan, Color Commando, other DSiWare titles (not sure which ones since I don't know anything about any of them), DM2, Kokopolo 3D, Jett Rocket 2, and maybe HarmoKnight for me. Though there's quite a few eShop titles I'm still waiting on getting atm...
Thanks for the heads up. I just checked it out and graphically I was less then impressed. It looked like an N64 game at best. Now it still could be lots of fun but ill wait for a review. Didn't I hear we were going to get a demo?

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Yeah, the game was basically a port of Renegade Kid's DS game of the same name but with added features I'm not aware off, so it's not really surprising that the game looks that way since they're both using similar graphic engines. But Knowing it has 4 player online and maintains a 60 fps with 3D on, I think this game could turn out great. Not to mention, the DS game fared well with the few Critics that managed to nab a review copy.
On a side note, did NoA or Jupiter announce any plans to bring Picross e to the eshop? I loved the DS games and Mario Picross, can't wait to get my hands on a new title.
Splinter cell is coming to the eshop, got it two christmas's ago, at first I played it and stopped playing it then a half a year ago I started playing it again but I got stucked in a level because I didn't know what to do....might play it again.
