Topic: Uninstall Homebrew

Hello dear forum, I would like to remove homebrew from my Nintendo 3ds because it doesn't even start anymore (see screenshot) I recently downloaded the latest software update for the Nintendo 2ds. What can I do?

And I also unfortunately deleted all files from my SD card and unfortunately I can't get them back

We cannot discuss this here as a 3DS is a current gen system.

However my suggestion is set up an appointment with Nintendo they can fix it I am sure.

@Tasuki In the context of this forum, is the 3DS still current gen, now that production was discontinued over a year ago? ..and games are getting pulled from 3ds eshop. When can we say 3ds is not current gen? Do you know, or should we summon Eel or AntDickens? 🤔

@WoomyNNYes You can still buy them in stores like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop so that signals to me they are current Gen. Besides it still is the current handheld till the next one is announced like a 4DS or whatever they will call it.

@Tasuki I haven't seen a 3ds at Target or Best Buy (or any store) for a year or more (northeast US). The only 3ds consoles on Walmart's site are third party scalpers (I'm generalizing, but Walmart the company doesn't appear to sell them). If you've seen them at the store, though, I trust you.

EDIT: nintendo hasn't sold refurbished 2ds/3ds in like 6 months. They've been removed completely at store.nintendo.com.

I suppose the 3DS is in a bit of a grey area right now when it comes to topics like this. So just to be safe, I'll lock this.

I will say that you can most likely find a way to fix this error if you google a bit. You have an error message right there you can use to start with.
