I HATE the 3DS. It SUCKS. I HATED getting 20 free games. I HATE Shin Megami Tensei, Fire Emblem, Mario, Zelda, Pokemanz, Luigi's Mansion, Yoshi, etc...
The DS is/was my favourite console. The 3DS had a slow start with little support. The XL made some key hardware changes making it an better all round console. I love my XL. I haven't played on my PS3/360 for ages due to the impressive quality software, that has been released since the start of the year.

The only people I've ever heard speaking negatively about the XL, are people who got a standard 3DS - pre-XL release.

What ever you are saying, is not especially clear to me. The folks who started with a regular 3DS have an advantage in terms of perspective; I would be more inclined to hear their opinion, personally.

Ok, I'll simplify and clarify:
The only time I've ever heard anything bad said about the '3D DS' - Is when people with a standard 3DS try to pick faults with the XL.
I haven't seen to many people dogging the 3DS. Most of it's software gets good ratings and the hardware is very solid. I just don't know where you heard about all these people who hate the system..........
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

As for people hating on the 3DS? Are they by any chance people who live under rocks or in caves? Because I haven't heard anyone hating on the 3DS, except for 2011 when it had its slow launch period which faded after a few months.
The 3DS is a brilliant console, there are very few titles I'd call shovelware, except for the very obvious ones on the eShop and the licensed games of course.
well the hate is on 2DS now not on 3DS(it was on 3DS only in 2011 to tell the truth) and I disliked the 2DS now I think it's a very smart move because I'll get more streetpasses soon!!
