Glad to see they hit so many stretch goals. I particularly like that Challenge Mode will be included. Stuff like that adds a ton of replay into a game for me.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.

It would be nice to add a endless mode as well, something with endless amount of enemies and you try to survive the longest.
They have reached the $225.000 goal, whowever pledged $50 or more get a physical game box which is fake and whoever pledged any amount gets a digital copy. Next goal is playable knight 3, I hope Propeller knight, polar knight, and the death knight (it's not shown but I assume it's something like the grim reaper) will all be the playable knights.
It reached the goal I wanted, I am good.I don't think I will ever use the battle mode, I can barely get people together for NintendoLand multiplayer (Yes I am getting it on Wii U)
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

That isn't all that far from the truth. I'll be skipping this title. The graphic's are just way to blehhh for my taste. Sorry... Just not interested.
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
Well, some people just don't know about quality.
Disney reviews written by Neil Sharpson, voiced by Erik Copper and edited by me on my channel! They're hilarious, I can promise you that.

The graphics aren't her preference. It has nothing to do with Shovel Knight's quality as a game.
but obviously some random person on the internet's opinion will destroy this game's reputation! What, has it got Game Grumps on it side? Pfft, one person will destroy all that good will. Face it guys kickstarter is ruined!!!!!!!!!

Now if we had a pet game with these graphics, she would be happy happy happy and get it.
So? If she likes a pet game and decides to get it, it should not impact you in any way.
Anyways, I'm looking forward to this title even more now that it has reached more goals, and will be getting the Wii U version for the multiplayer. I personally do love the graphical and art direction of the game, and believe I could fall for its designs just as I did with Mutant Mudds. My little brother will likely love to play it too, and maybe we can both get so good that we have epic battles as we do in Metroid Blast.
I should point out the somewhat obvious that of the many, many games trying to be nostalgic, this is one of the best examples I've seen, both because it pretty much looks like a really smooth NES game with a few graphical tweaks and because it looks like a great game. That song they used for that video is still amazing and I think what really sold me on this though. They really seem to "get it" for lack of a better term.
Shovel Knight is on its final 12 hours of Kickstarter, it has less than $20,000 left to reach its final stretch goal of 300,000 and more playable characters in the game.
It's over $300K now, so it met all of its stretch goals. Impressive. Looks to be a game with a lot of content, so I'm looking forward to it even more than before.
