Shovel Knight has now reached its Kickstarter Goal!
However, if people keep funding, it can reach its stretch goals, and perhaps we will be able to have a Challenge Mode, and a 4-Player Mode, in the final form of Shovel Knight!
It already hit the goals I care about short of challenge mode.

I just read that if I contribute 15 bucks I can choose which platform i get the code for... so when I get paid I might contribute so that I can get a code for Wii U
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Where did you read that? I hope it's true, because then I'd take a 3DS code.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
Agreed the fact that other games don't do this has been keeping me from kickstarter. If a game is coming out on consoles but in their kickstarter they are only giving away PC versions then I will wait for the console version to come to the marketplace. Nice to see someone letting me pick which version I get as the reward
That isn't all that far from the truth. I'll be skipping this title. The graphic's are just way to blehhh for my taste. Sorry... Just not interested.
Happy Gaming! (^_^)
Just in case you missed it, shovel ware is just a play on the title.
Considering your diverse palate for games (albeit from genres you like) I'm surprised you would dismiss this game. But graphics come down to preference, the retro look is very deliberate and the talent behind this game is top notch (they brought in the renowned composer from the Mega Man series). I am certain that your assessment of the quality is in err, but the developers efforts with graphics and gameplay do assume a taste for the retro either directly or in a parody form. I think there's a little of both in this title!
