Topic: SD Card makes new 2ds xl go into sleep mode??

Hello, I’ve had my new 2ds xl for awhile now. Today however, I’ve came across a problem. First I was switching games to see my screen froze. When I rebooted my system by holding down the power button the top and bottom screen just stayed all black. I then found out my system only seems to be doing this when I have my sd card entered, but when it’s not it works like normal... I have many digital downloaded games and desperately need help on finding the solution

Do you happen to have a spare SD you can try? If you do, maybe redownload a title to it then see how it reacts.
I’ve seen my 2DS (the tablet model) get wonky for a few minutes on the home screen if I closed Smash Bros. But it would normalize after 15 seconds max.
