So since we have had the chance to transfer our old DSiWare over to our shiney new systems, with some exceptions (grrrrr) it ment that we would lose our save data and thus gave us a chance to revisit and replay some of our old titles. But how do they fair on the new system and more importantly does it improve the game in anyway, I think its time for a rereview of some of the old games.

To be honest I hadnt really taken notice of all the DSiWare I had built up in the last couple of years but with over 30 titles to transfer over I have found my 3DS has quite a substantial library of games on it now, some good and some bad.
Anyway, I thought it may be a good idea to share our thoughts on how the play on the 3DS.

WarioWare: Snapped!

http://dsiware.nintendolife.com/reviews/2009/04/warioware_sna...

This game was one of the first I picked up with the free 1000 points that came with the system. To be honest I quite liked it as a little game to show people what the DSi could do, but ultimately it was a bit shallow and the fun wore off fast.
This is a game which as improved thanks to the 3DS, the images look sharper and better on the top screen, but more importantly because of the change in posistion of the Camera this game work perfectly. The problems of the hinge camera ment that you had to get into a good position yourself and make sure you had good lighting because it didnt always pick you up. But now because it at the top of the screen, lighting is much less of an issue and it is easier to move the screen into position rather than yourself. Sure its still as short as it was before but it works so much better. Im sure I will get bored of it just as quickly but it makes for a nice albiet and expensive Tech Demo. I would raise the score from a 4 to a 6 in my oppinion thanks to the improvements from the 3DS.

AirRaceTunnel

nintendolife review: http://dsiware.nintendolife.com/reviews/2010/01/airace_tunnel...

well i hoped the game would be more fun controlling your plane with the analog pad, but it isnt. it is kinda easier controlling it with the D-pad. this game requires tight controlls but the game wasnt ment to be played with the analog pad there fore it doesnt take advantage of it afterwards. but it is still a good game. no problem controlling it with the D-pad.

Eel

Hot and cold works perfectly with the circle pad and every touch DSiWare i have played feel the same.
Plants vs Zombies looks sightly blurry, though.

pd: Hellow Flowerzzzzzz looks great.
