I've heard from several people from multiple forums that Zenonia (DSiWare) doesn't work on the 3DS despite being available on the 3DS eShop...is this true? If so that's a shame considering that the game looks really good.

I don't know what region you're in or if this glitch is supposed to happen at a certain point in the game, but I bought this game for a friend's original model 3DS (could also be a model problem, I don't know) and he was able to play it just fine (and really liked it!).

Good luck with figuring this out! I hear it's a pretty good game if you like grindy action RPGs.

It works I have it (again, unless it's a glitch at a certain point in the game).
I guess it's decent but it definitely feels like a phone game (very grinding and laughably bad writing.)
I was shocked to find a rare items shop actually compares himself to a crack dealer, in a game on a Nintendo console.

Works for me on 3DS.

I was disappointed in the gameplay and never actually finished playing it... but the four-and-a-half hours that I did play were free of any problems.

Regardless of whether it works, I would recommend you steer clear. The story was pretty bad - bad enough to make me kind of angry, which almost never happens (happened for Bioshock Infinite, but that's the only other that I can think of offhand).

A bad story would be forgivable, if the gameplay was worthwhile. The combat system was pathetic, essentially boiling down to using skills to OHKO everything until you managed to grind enough to progress.

Whether it works or not really isn't all that important - there are several games far more deserving of your money.

Turns out I already said my opinion.
But aside from the cheap writing (from what I recall), the poor line-wrapping just makes it look even cheaper (if when a game is printing a letter it realizes the rest of the word isn't going to fit on the line it will erase the half-printed word and print it on the next line. It would look more professional if it checked a word will fit BEFORE it starts printing it )
