Some of the fan-made Mega designs here actually make sense because they show us an actual alternate version of the Pokemon, like a "what if" aspect. I really like seeing the Mega Cofagrigus one because unlike an added random hair fro (still holding a joking grudge against Mega Ampharos because it's design is honestly ridiculous) , it shows us what the Pokemon might like look like had its outer coffin been open, which is actually cool.
The only official Mega design so far that is creative in this respect is ironically Mega Kangaskhan, because who honestly didn't wonder about the baby in its pouch and how essentially it was two Pokemon in one.
I'd like to see more creative Mega evolutions along these lines that don't just add small pointless details and extra flare but maybe reveal something interesting about the original Pokemon in question.

Also demo has been shown confirming that fennekin knows psybeam hint hint? Like sony_70 new anime special. At the end a picture was shown of a battle with different graphics to X and Y hint hint? When you have a pokemon that can mega evolve it doesn't automatically "evolve" instead in the attack option it gives you the meagevolve option. Also fairy type isn't very effective against fire type. In demo only Alexa tells you to go to Sycamore and he gives you mewtwo that can megaevolve and you battle him too using megamewtwo but the hp of megamewtwo doesn't change. A list of pokemon and their moves are shown like sylveon and fennekin and froakie etc. There's other stuff but not big huge mega mundo stuff
