Yeah, this one doesn't have an excuse for it either.

In XYORAS you could try and say the reason for the lack of screenshots was because you could use the 3DS camera from within the game. This one doesn't have that function as far as I know.

I guess they simply don't want people taking unauthorized screenshots of their precious pokemon.

I kinda figured it had to do with games that could change the 3D settings in-game. But it seems it was just because the old 3DS couldn't handle taking screenshots of those games.

Starting to think this is just the Pokemon Company not wanting us to take screenshots. >_>
Then again you can take screens of Red/Blue/Yellow....so I dunno. -.-

Well, the pokemon in RGBY are as off-model and you can, and they're old games.

I bet they probably tried to turn off the option though.

The old model shouldn't be factor, since smash 3DS already exists as an example of a game in the same situation that does allow pictures.

(Though they did eventually add a slightly convoluted way for o3ds owners to add pictures to miiverse).

It's definitely the pokemon company being weird as usual.

Anyways yeah it's kinda irritating, usually hate taking pics with my phone where everything is blurry or whatever. (that and my phone tends to be stupid sometimes when it comes to transferring pics to PC)

Just recently got Pokémon Moon,I absolutely love it!

Trying to hatch a shiny fomantis.

Originally, I was just breeding a competitive one, but before I can even get the nature right, a shiny hatched.

So I got a jolly (its special and going on trick room.. worst of both worlds), Leaf Guard (I had an HA but it was the only leaf guard of the bunch), and Male... Yea the gender matters to me when I see more feminine pokemon.

It was such a troll shiny for me I decided to just go all the way for a good shiny one. I didn't want to before cause defog, what would make lurantis really good, is a pokebank move and I'd like my shiny to have it, but I figured what serious team would I use this on competitively anyway, I'd just run another spinner/defogger with or without lurantis.

Finished with Pokemon Moon for now until they get Pokemon Bank working so i can trade back and forth between Sun and Moon. On Pokemon Sun this time trying to catch every Pokemon in the area with the help of Serebii. So far so good on route 3 working towards the grand trial ran into a Bagon with just a 1 percent encounter rate took 3 ultra balls probably could of used great balls. Final thought Oricorio can die in a small dark hole i used 7 ultra balls 4 great balls and i think i finally caught it with a regular pokeball it was paralyzed and 1hp.
