For me, my only Pokémon that could deal some real damage to Lurantis was Salandit. However, whenever I attacked Lurantis, it would use Synthesis, or Solar Blade me in one turn due to Sunny Day. What was worse was that Castform knows Water Gun and Trumbeak knows Supersonic, and I couldn't do anything about that because Lurantis would just call out another ally! I only won because the Lurantis' AI randomly decided not to Synthesis after my attack.

Kantonese would make it sound like food.

Lurantis was the bane of my exsistence lol. I think it took me 4 tries to beat it. Mimikyu it took 3 times, only cause the first time I completely forgot about disguise and opened up with a Z move 😂. The story in my opinion was amazing

Well, I just recently bought Moon today. Time to see why people like these games so much.

I finally finished completing the melemele pokedex... I remember completing the X/Y and ORAS one in 2 days each, and I'm already on say 5 of trying to complete this dex and I only have 1 island done.

At least half of the pokemon in melemele island are also in the pokedex for other islands, my total progression is around 60% just off melemele alone. Poni is short so I'm gunna try to finish poni and see how much I still need to catch for the other islands.

The odd part... Was this a car accident... Or a pokeride accident...

So according to an event you need Lunatone or Solrock to see...said Pokémon gave a guy in Alola...some...star things...30 years prior, he kept them safe with "Those men", and he leaves for home, which involves...flying into space?

Given the O-Power sound effect plays, it's pretty much saying Mr Bonding was an alien that gave the star stuff to the men in Hoenn who passed their power on into another guy to become Mr Bonding.

Because THAT didn't need to get weirder. Also why Lunatone and Solrock? Why stars? Why is there a man from space? The hell? Either that or this dude is a Faller, and is Mr Bonding, since he has no memory like Anabel and Mohn and Looker in ORAS, implying they all passed through the Ultra Wormholes, and the two Pokémon are linked.

Apparently the guy also mentions the Pokémon of time and space, but I haven't seen that confirmed yet.

Also can we mention that Burnet is the same Burnet from Pokémon Dream Radar back in Gen 5?

Yup, it's the same person. It's nice to see one of the several spin-off professors get ascended to main game status.

So can we talk about the Pokemon timeline? Cause the split timeline/alternate universe established in the Delta Episode is reinforced in this game

It's really simple.

Every save file in each game is an alternate universe.

The Hoenn in ORAS takes place in a branch of the universes where a meterorite will destroy everything.

They wanted to use the game link technology to send that meterorite to another Hoenn. Like we use it to trade pokemon between save files.

@Meowpheel That's not it. The Delta Episode established that the timeline split with the use of the Ultimate Weapon 3000 years ago. It split into a timeline where Mega Evolution (and now Z-Moves) exists, resulting in more advanced technology, and one where Megas don't exist.

Essentially, there's two timelines. The non-Mega timeline:

FRLG/Emerald -> 3 years -> HGSS/Platinum -> Unknown number of years -> BW -> 2 years -> B2W2

Then the Mega timeline, where technology is more advanced with ORAS, XY, and SM. The events in this timeline run pretty much parallel to the non-Mega timeline, but some things happen differently due to the presence of Mega Evolution. So just input the Mega equivalents for the Kanto, Johto, Sinnoh, and Unova games.

X/Y also take place at the same time as the Mega version of B2W2. The time between XY and Sun/Moon is unknown I believe.

So here's where Sun/Moon play into all of this:

I did the same to get all the premier balls I need.

I saw some folks a few pages back saying that wishiwashi stops schooling at 50% health. I can confirm that the threshold is 25%. Since he learns aqua ring naturally and is very bulky, he doesn't have much issue with his ability. In my playthrough there were only a couple of instances where he took a hit that passed the threshold but didn't kill him.

So apparently i got banned because i lost connection while doing a trade. I highly doubt it was lost on my end sitting pretty much right in front of the modem.I followed the instructions hitting the power button only to find out i can no longer do trades of any kind and reading up on it this could last anywhere from 1-72 hours. I understand why they do this for people that quit on purpose in the middle of a trade but seriously this better get looked into or at least give us a time frame to when we get access back to trading. Not happy right now at all was in the process of getting all 3 starters only needed Popplio and this happens
