Topic: Oh wait what how (DSiWare and folders)

I fell asleep playing last night and my 3DS was on blinking red when I woke up so I turned it off to charge it.

I was quite shocked when I turned it on a few minutes ago, just to see Cake Ninja XMAS greeting me in the main page of my menu. Seriously that was freaky, it was in the spot where Petit Computer usually is and not in the DSiWare folder with my other DSiWares.

That wasn't all though. Every single DSiWare moved ouside the folder and even the ones that weren't in folders changed places (Petit Computer).

I had to arrange them all again. Has this happened to anyone else? I wonder what caused it

This has happened to me also! Even the battery turning blinking red and everything

@Morphtoid I've had to rearrange my DSiWare this several times. I don't really know what causes it, but it hasn't happened in a while.

Since SarcasticWisdom mentioned, it may be related to turning the (almost dead) 3DS off to charge it and then turning it again several hours later.

It seems so random!

Do you remember if your 3DS meet these conditions the times it happened to you, kuncles?

I don't really remember, sorry. The last time this happened was months ago, and after rearranging everything for the 5th+ time, I forgot what the conditions were. I just annoyingly put them back.

This is sort of related, but once my 3DS wouldn't recognize my SD Card, as in cutting out while I was playing a game. So, I took it out and re-inserted it (with the power still on), and ALL of my 3DS software (DSiWare, eShop downloads, etc.) were de-foldered. Can't say that my 3DS has ever re-arranged just my DSiWare titles on me before, however.

Weird, I haven't had any issues with any of my folders ever.

Welp this just happened to me, but my 3DS wasn't blinking red it was at full battery. Really odd. Just wondering for everyone else where you on an XL or classic? I was on an XL and nothing happened on my old classic so this is really weird.

@Neo-GeoFan I'm using a Classic, and it has happened to me on numerous occasions.

Happened to me before but all my stuff was still in my folder just moved around.

This happened to me a few times, I only keep my DSiware and VC games in their own folders (I keep my 3DSware on the main menu), but all of my DSiware was pushed out of the folder and back to the main menu while my VC games stayed in their folder. I hope Nintendo fixes this in the next update.

Mine did that too.
